    • Well designed hitch lock
This lock replaces one of those locks where you insert the key and screw it together. That type might be a little harder to cut off since there isn't a shackle, but it is a royal pain in the rear to get on and off- especially with frozen hands or in the pouring down rain. This lock has a shackle with a right-angle bend in it, and it couldn't be any easier to use. I'm wishing I had bought this one a year ago. Very pleased! ... show more

    • Extremely Poor Craftmanship!!!
Not impressed. Very poor craftsmanship and quality. The case has a very rough texture which is will collect dirt, grease and grime, the shackle is loose and leans once the shackle toe is release. I don't see this lasting long. Personally, I think the lock I've used to 9 years now is a better lock. So displeased and untrusting, I tossed it in the trash. Should have returned to Amazon! ... show more

    • Works on wide latches
Works on 2020 Rockwood 2604 w s ultralight. Most of the ultralight and Signature Series Rockwoods have a wider ball lock latch then most travel trailers. This works just fine.

    • Nice, but needs to be straightened before key turns.
The only thing I don't like about this lock is that I have to physically straighten out the lock arm (it's very slightly wiggly) to get the key to turn, which isn't a big deal once I figured it out, but if someone else needs to unlock it besides me they might assume the key doesn't work. Quality of this product is good but it’s not the right dimensions to fit my trailer tongue lock. Disappointing as I would think that Reese would make a product to fit the most common tongues, not just their own. I’ll use it for other stuff

    • after 8 months, core pulled out and lock fell apart in my hands. Junk!
after using the key on the lock maybe 5 times over an eight month period, the lock fell apart in my hands with the key pulling the entire core out of the lock body. Total junk.
