most boots can be broken in at about two weeks i wore these things for six months and my feet hurt everyday. i went out and bought some gel inserts for them and even that didn't help. not sure if it was because it was a larger size boot that it lack cushion or what,but i threw them out and got me a pair that is completely night and day!!!!!!!!!! ... show more

The boot appears to be well manufactured. Only time will tell. It is a heavy, stiff, slightly oversize work boot. Don't buy it if your work requires a lot of walking. The length is ok. Most composite toes like to leave some extra room and this boot leaves plenty. The worst thing is the upper is so large in relation to the length I have the the sides laced almost completely together and the boot is still a little loose on my foot. Hard to believe anyone would have that fat of a foot to need that much room. I've worked in them for a couple of days and they're pretty scuffed up so I'm not going to try to return them. I might try soaking them and see if they'll shrink. If not I'll keep them and only wear them when a safety toe is required. ... show more

I Like the boots &I wanted them in brown since I have the black but had to return them because they don't meet ELECTRICAL HAZARD work place safety requirements and OSHA standards, be sure to look for that EH on the tongue of the shoe/boot
