  • Good starter mechanical keyboard with features found in more expensive keyboards
Color: Deep Black
Amazing wireless keyboard and value. First off, this keyboard is not for people who are used to more expensive $50-$100 mechanical keyboards. This is for people like me who are "getting started" on keyboards. This keyboard squarely falls in the "cheap, but good enough" category. It's what I call an entry level starter keyboard, and if you can get this on sale for $35 it is an amazing steal. It's a full blown keyboard and will be as large as a typical office keyboard. It has built in RGB with several different light modes. Macroable keys. Outemu red switches that can be swapped out. Several people have complained about the software for this thing, but since I don't use it myself I can't comment on it. It being wireless allows it to be somewhat portable, and the 2.4 Ghz mode makes for gaming with NO LATENCY. Keyboard also looks pretty slick and the different RGB modes can be switched between using simple keypresses. I take this along with me with a midrange laptop for on the go gaming and I find it great for my purposes. Get this when you can get it on sale. ... show more

  • Bought both keyboards so I could compare
Color: Black
(TLDR): The “LED” one (less expensive) works/sounds just as fine, the only real difference is the “QWERTY” one has brighter and more vibrant backlighting. If you just care about functionality/affordability, get the cheaper one. If you care more about aesthetics, spend a lil more! - - - - - I have two fellow gamer friends who desperately needed new keyboards, and since I already bought them keycaps, I decided to look for affordable mechanical keyboards for them. Amazon recommended these, reviews seemed promising, but I had another issue.. what’s the difference?? Why is one $10-15 more?? Nothing really explains the difference here and Google couldn’t help me with wtf LED vs QWERTY was (I thought they both were?? 🤨 Idk still learning about keyboards, bear with me here) A few reviews said one was brighter than the other, but other than that, I was unsure why one cost more. One friend only cared about functionality as they work from home, but the other friend very much cares about aesthetics and has a nice gamer setup. So figured, I’ll just get both! So here’s a breakdown of all the notable but pretty settle differences: RBG LED (White Logo) On Box: Sindri Red Dragon Price: Cheapest Option (great for what you pay for, best affordable option) Sound: Red Switches, not “silent” imo but not too loud either (I think this one sounded SLIGHTLY clackier, but friends couldn’t tell difference, maybe I just watch a lot of keyboard videos to notice lol) Base: Black “Metallic” appearance (bottom keyboard in light pic) Felt slightly lighter, not all that noticeable though Lighting: Not nearly AS vibrant, but still bright enough (top keyboard in dark pic) When you first plug in, the light is stagnant. Functionality: No lag so far, smooth typing, perfect for casual gamers or work use RGB QWERTY (Red Logo) On Box: Rudra Red Dragon Price: Slightly Pricier (still great for what you pay for tbh) Sound: Red Switches, same, not “silent” imo but not too loud either Base: Black Plastic appearance (top keyboard in light pic) Felt slightly heavier. Lighting: Much more vibrant (bottom keyboard in dark pic, pic doesn’t do justice, it was significantly brighter) When you first plugin, the light is flowing. Functionality: No lag so far, smooth typing, perfect for gamers and work use - - - - - My review is already long af, but I’ll have my friends update me on overall usage overtime. The “aesthetics” friend plays way more games on their PC, so I’ll be able to tell heavy gamer use for the QWERTY one. While the “functional” friend will be using it for work, as they work from home, so I’ll tell more daily use for the LED one. 👍 I’ll ask more about the settings as well as time goes on, for now, they’re just happy with their new keyboards! ... show more

  • Great keyboard, definitely happy with the purchase - great price too.
Color: White Black Red
Easily the best keyboard I've ever bought, and I've bought some high-tier brands in the past for over a hundred dollars. It comes with a keyswitch tool, extra switches, and does not feel cheap in quality. It also sounds nice when typing. It's that kind-of "muted clack" sound. Hard to describe such things but that's my best shot at it. The size is standard array and my fingers feel good on it. I was able to switch out my keycaps for WASD (I prefer circular key caps for those) and the caps do not clash with the other caps what-so-ever. The wireless bluetooth and plugged in modes both work well; I was able to use it wirelessly for about 3 days of near-constant use before having to plug it in. Honestly, I just left it plugged in since then so not sure how well the battery is on a recharge. The lights are appealing, the keys look nice; the color scheme is kinda abstract but I'm not mad about it. Overall, great keyboard, and it's held up for a couple months now with no degradation. Thanks Redragon. Appreciate a good product. ... show more

  • Switches only hotswappable between a few brands
Color: Black
To be clear, the keyboard works fine. It's sleek and comfortable and it's easy to swap out keycaps and whatnot for personalization. I do wish you could change the colors of the rgb lights rather than just the patterns but that's not a huge grievance since I'm opting to just turn them off anyway. My major issue is that I wanted to swap out the switches with something tactile so I was less prone to hitting the wrong keys so i purchased so switches based on research that i did into what switches are preferable and only once i received them did i learn that this keyboard is only compatible with a few very specific brands of switches. For advertising itself as hotswappable it does not, as far as i have found, list anywhere on the store page that certain brands are incompatible. It isn't entirely on this company that i spent $40 on switches i can't use but boy does it irk me that their lack of info lead me to do so. Again, good keyboard. works well. Typing is very smooth (too smooth for my taste but to each their own). I would recommend this product. Just be warned if you intend to swap the switches as advertised you'll only be able to work with a few brands. ... show more

  • But should you?
Color: Black
I would highly recommend this keyboard and company. It worked great for some time and then within the 2 year warranty period, my num1 key started acting up. I use my num pad just enough for it to be bothersome. I reached out to the company with the issue and supporting documentation and they were kind enough to get me a new one sent out, same model and everything. I love the sound of the keyboard, the ergonomics are fantastic, the size is comfortable, it responds that way you think it would/should and is compatible with every program I use. Great product! And YES, you should buy it! ... show more

  • Stopped working FAST
Color: Black
While I loved this keyboard, sadly it has stopped working. After the first 4-6 months the backlights stopped working, then by about a year the caps lock button kept not em working and the keyboard just stopped altogether. Super disappointing because although this keyboard is easy to use and change the keys on etc. it just isn’t worth it for the lack of durability/longevity ... show more

  • Works Fine. Not too big. Great value
Color: Black
Works fine so far. Love me some red switches. A nice, satisfying "thock". It is not too big even though it has the ten key pad. Illumination options are fine. Good quality and value if it holds up. Got it on sale for $25. That is the price of a decent membrane keyboard. This is mechanical switches so better value. ... show more

  • Solid keyboard, colors not adjustable (but patterns are!)
Color: Black
Keyboard has a nice solid feel and positive (but loud) keyclicks. Other than that the keys are in the right places (by feel), and it seems to be what I am used to. What I like about the lighting is that there is less glare around each key, and what you see is just the letter/symbol and just a hint of light framed around each key. (other keyboard have a LOT of light framing each key) The default color is a "rainbow": sort of an "OYGBIVR" (Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue/Cyan, Indogo, Violet/Magenta, Red. Closer study shows a more definite boundary between the colors and not so much of a blend between the colors (left to right): Yellow, Green, Cyan, Blue, Magenta, Red. Programming the colors is slightly more complicated, and at first glance overwhelming. The keyboard appears to be divided into zones, and depending on the mode depends on the boundaries of those zones. Adjusting the brightness adjusts whole keyboard (globally): Lo, Med, Hi, Max, Off. The Lo setting is plenty bright for a dark room, and should not interfere with "night vision", especially if color is set to Red (except color is fixed; see below). Max is bright, and even under strong LED lamp still has enough glow that you know the keyboard lights are on. The lighting levels appear to be well thought out. However, the color of each key seems preset. I could not find a setting to set all the keys to the same color (I know, BORING!). But the other light modes were too flashy/distracting. Will have to look at support options to see about changing key colors. The only color option seems to be the preset "rainbow" for the entire keyboard. That is the only thing I dont like about this keyboard. I DO like the reduced glare around each key. Another drawback, the programming software is windows only. The software runs under Wine, but does not detect the keyboard (probably a USB setting in Wine or in virtual kernel). That will be a deal breaker. Got the ReDragon (not RedDragon) keyboard attached to a windows computer. This keyboard (the K671 Sindri) was advertised on Amazon as an RGB keyboard. Well..... the colors are fixed as a rainbow and cannot be changed, even through the Redragon software. Sorry, thats a dealbreaker. Will be sending it back as mis-represented. Will consider other Redragon keyboards if I can get one that is truly configurable, or at least fixed at a solid color. ... show more
