Thought I had a picture. But no matter they are a very quick, affordable and pretty aesthetic way to filter like, helps with blackout and UV and temperature cooling. I started using paper shades years ago there's no damage to the walls or the trim. And as long as you don't have kids running around tugging on them or crinkling them they last for a long time and look nice. And I bought six packs and 12 packs and you can't be the cost to quantity ratio. I've turned on some friends to these and bought some for my friends and they're so easy to install. Like it's a game changer. I do recommend 100% follow the instructions. They're easy to cut. They're a thick enough paper that it makes them good. The only problem I've ever had is after a while gravitational pull will make some of the corners of the adhesive start to come up so I absolutely recommend adding a little extra tape to keep them secure. I love these, I have them in all my windows. Super easy to put up. I've only had to replace a couple of them in the past 11 yrs. Don't recommend for people with kids or pets tho, as they're paper and tear. However, this order only had 4 in it, was supposed to be a 6 pack, but they sent more. And these don't have good sticky adhesive on them! They're falling off! That's never happened before. Hopefully the replacement they send will be better ... show more

These shades are affordable and look nice, however they weren’t that easy to cut. The other thing is they were not all quite 72”. Most were plenty long enough but a couple of them were a little too short to hang all the way. For temporary use, they’re great and I would purchase again.

Bottom Line: Did not stick to window frames for more than 24 hours (some much less than that), did not cover anywhere NEAR to the listed length (72") which is probably attributable to the pleats though should be considered false advertising, and one blind in a box of 6 was less than HALF the length and looks to be a case that material ran out of a machine when fabricating and nobody noticed. Long version: I have a new home with far too many large windows and no blinds. I needed something cheap and quick while I order real window treatments so my family could change their clothes without putting on an adult exhibition. I needed 30 windows covered and these blinds got good reviews from The Wirecutter so I gave it a go. I bought 5 boxes, cut them to the necessary sizes, and attached to the top of the window frame as directed by included instructions. Immediately it was clear that my 69" tall windows would not be effectively covered. Of my grievances with this product, this is the most acceptable. The 72" in the product description clearly refers to the length of the paper material and not the size of a window it covers. I should have *PERHAPS* done more due diligence here, but I think it's pretty poor game that the manufacturer doesn't give you a clue as to how big of a window these blinds cover. So, it sucks, I think it's not right, but I can maybe see where the mistake was mine and not the maker. However, one blind in the boxes I ordered was extremely too short, even when pulled entirely flat. This was clearly a mistake by the manufacturer. You can even see how the blind ends halfway through a pleat. Someone forgot to fill the machine and I got odd-end. Should have some better QC there. But the worst is that the blinds simply wouldn't stick. I have a new construction house, I don't know if the brand new paint on the windows made any difference, but of the 30 blinds I have hanging, I think maybe 5 or 6 have stayed up without falling. The rest of the 25+ fall daily, at odd times, and I have to climb up and hang them again (remember, 69" tall windows, I need a ladder to fix this) only for them to fall again the next day. On the second day of re-hanging, the blinds started to fall and stick to themselves, so now 3 are ruined because the paper tore trying to unstick the folds. I'm extremely dissatisfied with this product. I don't know if my experience is unique, but as far as stickiness goes, I had 5 boxes of this stuff and they all exhibited the same falling behavior, so I can't say it's just a lemon in my batch. I will note that I saw reviewers who suggested using a bit of rubbing alcohol on the window before sticking. I have done this in one case recently and it hasn't fallen again yet, but it's only just been over 24 hours (a new record). However, this tip about alcohol is not in the instructions and shouldn't be considered 'normal' hanging. Also, I think the reason this works is because the alcohol compromises the paint a bit (the whole upper sill became sticky to the touch after applying the alcohol) so I can't say this is a good approach if you ever hope to take these paper blinds down. ... show more

I literally just got the order in and I am so psyched! When I seen a 6 pack of these for $19.... I ordered so fast and was like no way there is 6 in there... Well, there ARE 6 great quality, light blocking shades! Such a great deal! These are ones are much better than ones I've bought at Family Dollar or Walmart. Super easy to cut to size, unlike the other ones. Just make sure you are using a sharp blade. I highly recommend these especially if you have little ones, I've always waited till a certain age to get quality items for the home cause they will end up destroying something haha! ... show more

My daughter moved into a rental that has three beautiful glass doors looking out into the backyard/ wooded area. There was no shade or curtain hardware over the doors when she moved in, so we assumed everyone has always just left those doors bare. This has always made her really uncomfortable at night, but trying to hang curtains over such a large area would be so expensive, especially since it’s a rental property. While I was staying with her recently, I started looking for other solutions and I found this six pack of shades on Amazon. For the price, I thought it was worth trying. I would only be out 20 bucks if they didn’t work. They were delivered within two days and I hung them immediately. I stayed another two weeks and they stayed up the whole time. I use the clips to raise them in the morning and I lowered them in the evening. They were easy to trim and you can blow up the picture and see, I literally stuck them right above the glass panes. I did wash off that area and let it dry well before I stuck them up there. They look so nice and they do the trick. So far they have stayed in place and it’s been a month now. ... show more
