These are not really what I would think of as fabric, kind of like what they make masks out of. But I like the way they look and they are pretty sturdy. I got the paper ones before and hated them, so got these and they work find for me. I used to have nicely made paper blinds from Japan but could not find them at a price I could afford, but these look good enough. I did not even try to see if the adhesive would stick, just stuck them up and added thumb tacks, it has been a couple of months and no problem. I put them up with the clips daily and they have stayed up fine. Sturdy enough considering I handle them daily. They are a little sheer in terms of letting light in, but you cannot see through them, maybe you can see shadows not sure because I haven't checked. Two are up with sheer curtains and the one in the kitchen is just by itself and looks fine that way. Enough for privacy and I like the light they let in. ... show more

I like that the adhesion works great! I have window air conditioners and these blinds cover the top window area that is exposed above the A/C's. I bought another one to put in my bedroom window behind my heavy curtains. Thankful to have found these. Will purchase again. One note...they are not 100% privacy guaranteed, as light filters through. They work in my bedroom because I already had curtains that knock out light and you cannot see through them. I wanted the blinds in the bedroom for outside appearances, and the feel of extra privacy. In my living room, no one can see through the top area of my window because it's too high....so I do have my privacy. ... show more

Out of the box within a few days, the shades fell to the ground. What was left is the sticky tape on the item it was stuck to. It was the shade that disconnected and dropped. The shade had no leftover tape on it. it was all up on the item it was stuck to. Here’s a little trick. Get yourself some flat tension curtain rods. Adjust the tension rod to fit the windows. Do you want them to go into. Then You Want to stick the shade to the tension rod, make sure you rub it, so that it is stuck securely, do a spin of one or two your choice. then take the tension rod and hang it in your window, this will make them stay much longer. As I said, it’s not the tape sticking to the item, it’s a problem with the fact that this tape does not stick to the curtain material itself. By twisting it in a tension rod, it helps it to stay. It also make sure that you don’t end up with sticky tape left over on your woodwork or whatever you’re hanging it to. The tape is quite sticky. It’s just the material of the curtain. Doesn’t want to adhere to it that well. I’ve added a picture of what it looks like. Ignore the curtains up. I have a kitten who is climbing them right now, that’s why I have a need for the shades but you get the idea of how neat it still looks. I think it actually looks better stuck to the tension rod and spun. I also have these in the bathroom where water from the shower splashes on the one slightly it hasn’t created any problem. these are very thin, almost like a thick paper towel . They do serve the purpose. They're very easy to use. Did you cover the windows? It was a snap to put them up.
