This product nearly does everything right that you want in powder. The protein industry has massive flop after flop on plant products. This one finally has a place in the market as a viable contender to compete against the animal/whey-based products. NOTE: My experience is purely with a shaker bottle; I want a protein shake in two minutes, and this achieves that goal. I have not used a blender--I think it's a waste of time, personally. The ONLY part of this product I would focus on is the taste. I think it could be reformulated with the existing ingredients and be a bit better. I will stay on this powder line until... this might be the one I buy until it doesn't exist anymore. Review details: - VERY cost-efficient among competition, plant powders really can have questionable market/product features --- amazon sells it for $27.99 @ 30 servings of 20g --- super comparable to animal-based protein powder products --- supports a small business, not sure how it really ties in with this website, but thrown it b/c Amazon says so --- powder has lasted from May to August this year, has not changed in quality. Good sign. - no clumping --- mixes easy with liquid of choice, I choose soy milk a lot --- no mess in shaker bottle --- easiest one I've gotten to wash out - fine on digestion --- passes through completely fine --- no weird bloating, gas, etc. --- no after-weirdness later in the day sneaking up on me - No evidence of things that SHOULD NOT be involved in the process --- no weird smoke coming out of the container like some powders --- I don't see questionable ingredients, and the list is short enough, which is better IMO because we constantly get bombarded with laundry lists on these products - texture: --- smooth, no chalkiness, no clumping, no failures to mix yet - taste: --- passable, not vile or vomit-worthy, tastes super artificial and not the best strawberry I've ever had, but I will accept it with the other features of the powder

I like to have a variety of flavors that aren't chocolate and vanilla so I was trying to locate a strawberry powder and this was it. Mixes well with just a blender bottle and, for a pea protein, it's relatively palatable with minor grit. I mean if you've had pea protein you understand that no matter what artificial flavor they overlay on top of it, it just tastes like drinking ground up beans with the texture of mud and this is about average in that category. Personally I get far better satiation effect from pea protein than from whey which is why I use it. I use this as either a breakfast replacement or an evening snack to hold me until morning and this fills me up and lasts and lasts. 5/5 stars on fullness. I know the package says "not to be used for weight reduction" but they have to put that because some fool will go extreme and try to use this as their sole nutrition and end up with scurvy and try to sue the company. They're just legally covering their bases. You can absolutely use this responsibly as part of a sensible weight reduction regimen under the direction of your doctor. As everyone else has pointed out, the tub it comes in is ridiculous. It's oversized and the shape with the large base with small opening makes it hard to scoop the product. I transferred mine to a 16 cup plastic food storage container instead.

If you're trying Vanilla for the first time & are looking for an alternate to GB's awesome Chocolate flavor to go with things like fruit smoothies - then sadly I have to say this Vanilla is not even in the same league as Chocolate. I thought Vanilla was bland and boring in comparison & also did not mix as well as Chocolate. It was also was more flour-like in texture. There was *no* delicious pudding-like taste or texture, which makes you actually look forward to drinking it. Chocolate spoiled me, so now I know it can be done - so I want that level and better from the rest of the line. As of late 2020, unless they come out with a new Vanilla mix, & you really want a Vanilla flavor on hand, then I'd actually recommend their Peanut Butter flavor instead. It was actually a more accurate Vanilla than this! There was at least *some* taste in the Peanut Butter - it just was not Peanut Butter *at all* (though they do have peanut powder in there for those with allergies). To sum it up, Peanut Butter is Vanilla but with a very slight caramel-like hint, which made it more enjoyable while still remaining - yep, Vanilla.

One of the best vegan protein shakes I’ve had so far. I have IBS-D, Acid reflux, pre-crohns, (EOE) a very high metabolism and a number of food allergies…that all being said, keeping weight on, is a daily struggle that is exhausting and takes all the good vibes out of meals. This shake has done wonders for me since trying it. The peanut butter flavor great and the consistency when used with a blender and non-dairy ice cream and almond milk is awesome. It is not chalky or gritty. I would highly recommend for weight management for maintaining or gaining weight for my skinny/athletic brothers and sisters out there. Use it as a gaining or a meal replacement. I use it as a snack in between my meals or something for on the go. Hope this helps!
