We originally bought it for our motorhome. However, we ended up bringing it in and using in our large master bedroom as we don’t like the heating system installed as it’s under the curtains and I can’t close them. So, we have been using this little guy on a separate thermostat controller that plugs directly into the wall. It has been doing great even with the vaulted ceilings, and is pleasant. I bought a fireplace from another company for my furniture piece… and it didn’t work I was skeptical at first with this being only 3 reviews at the time, but I’m so glad I did it. got this heater for my RV which I'm remodeling. its a simple model with no remote or fancy settings but we like it that way. less things to lose or break. plugs into a 12v outlet or can even be hard wired. i tried it in the master bedroom and it delivers. cold buffalo winters are no match for this device. if you want a simple to operate RV heater that gets the job done this is it ... show more

The RecPro RV 18" Recessed Electric Fireplace is a small electric heater that would work well for a small room or any small space. It is simple and basic. No remote control is included and there are only two buttons available to operate the heater. Heat is not adjustable but I really don’t see a need for that personally.
