The awning was very easy to install after watching a few Youtube videos...Took extra care when installing by putting down a tarp on the driveway so that the awning did not drag on the ground... However...After we completed the installation we noticed around 5 or 6 pinholes in the awning...They were all along one of the creases where they had folded the awning for shipping...The awning came in a plastic bag so I don't think it rubbed on the shipping box during transport...Had to have been shipped like that... Not that big of a deal for me as I will just put a spot of silicone on the pin holes (these are really small holes but you can see sunlight through them)... Also, the color is much lighter than shown in the advertisement...but ended up looking OK with our RV color scheme...

We were uncertain what the quality would be since the price is about half what the rv stores cost but it was a good replacement. I would say it is a bit thicker and the only difference I saw was the seams are glued but not sewn. In our sun, the life of an awning is probably only 3 to 5 years anyway so we will see how this goes longer term. We did the installation ourselves after watching numerous videos. Two of us were able to do most of the work but needed an extra pair of hands to do the final rolling up and setting down. Delivery was fast and I would buy this again if I need one in the future.

The awning is beautiful but a little difficult to install. Go to UTube and there is great information regarding the installation process. Once you saw that, it made more sense as to what needed to be done. And you will need to cut into the metal on the actual roller to get it on. But well worth the trouble for sure. Our camper looks pretty again.

We ordered this back in October of last year but since the camping year was almost over we kept it in the box and waited til this summer to put it up. We were finally able to put it on this last weekend and we’re very disappointed! We took it out of the box and unfolded the top fold to expose the pieces that go in the roller, to let the sun soften and strengthen. (Should have checked for holes at that point) Once installed we found 9 holes on the fabric, and 3 are big enough to put a pencil through. The holes are in the middle on two different fold lines. These holes definately came from the factory and worse yet two of them are right above the patio door, and first thing you see. Too late to return and even if it wasn’t, we can not go through the hassle of taking it off now and shipping it back. I would advise opening it completely to check for holes, before you install it. I guess we just didn’t think to check for holes, - we checked the size and color but not for flaws. Big disappointment that it was shipped to us like this.
