They are accurate (measured against each other) and do the job. Batteries last a long time. Put them in your gun safe. Pay attention to them. They will warn you in time to save your firearms from humidity damage.

Got it because my son is very temperature sensitive (his room's insulation isn't as good as the rest of the house) and has dry skin. We travel and camp often with it because it feels pretty accurate (maybe a degree off), definitely helps me gauge if we need to turn up that humidifier when we glamp in the desert in our trailer or crank up mr buddy when we tent camp. The readings appear accurate in comparison to other hygrometers. The only thing I don't like is the magnets. They are very weak and slide down/off the metal shelving units.
