Description

RecPro knows the constant challenges RV owners face when it comes to upgrading their rigs, from cost issues to size considerations and weight concerns, every piece you fit into your recreational vehicle should work perfectly for you and your needs. Whether upgrading the lighting schemes or replacing cabinetry, we know that all of the individual pieces count toward the overall landscape and functionality of your home away from home. At RecPro, we want to pack your RV with solutions, not bulky products that add to your problems. The Euro Recliner is just that: a solution. With its space-saving and RV-friendly design, the Euro Recliner Chair with Kick-out Footrest is the newest addition to the RecPro furniture family. This stylish chair is covered in sleek European design and engineered for RV and at-home living. The Euro Chair is a free-standing, swiveling, and reclining chair that has the same luxuriously soft Suprima faux-leather covering that our popular Charles modular pieces feature. While the profile is substantially slimmed down from the standard Charles recliner, it still features the soft fill that our customers have come to love and has a deeper reclining seat in a stationary position. Sold in Putty, Chesnut, Toffee, and Mahogany, colors that are rich in depth and perfect for RV interiors, you can be sure to find one that will fit in with your RV decorating scheme. One of the most important features of our Euro Recliner Chair with Kick-out Footrest is its size. It’s compact (yet still able to sit a large adult) so it’s able to be placed in smaller alcoves and spaces within your RV. Also (and most importantly) this recliner weighs a slim 50 lbs. Even our Charles recliner weighs in at 88 lbs. (light by industry standards) and the Euro beats it by almost 40 lbs.! When weight matters to your RV lifestyle (and it’s a concern for most owners), this chair is a comfortable and stylish way to go. The Euro Chair measures 27” wide, 34” deep, and 40” high overall. In the first position, the recline length is 47”. In the second, fully extended position, the recline length is 57”. The frame width is 27” and the base diameter is 25 ½”. From the floor to the front of the seat cushion measures 18” and from the floor to the top of the back of the seat cushion measures 13 ¾”. The seat cushion is 20 ½” wide and 20” deep. The backrest is 21” wide and 26 ½” tall from the top of the seat cushion to the top of the headrest, with the headrest measuring 11” wide by 8 ½” high. From the ground to the top of the armrests is 23” and the armrests measure 3 ¾” wide each. In order for the chair to recline, the chair needs to sit 13” from the wall, with a 38” minimum slide depth required. Hardware is included for installation.

Just what I needed for the office man cave!
So I wanted/ needed a recliner for my home office/ man cave. But I didn't have room for a standard recliner... until I came across this product. After reading the reviews I pulled the trigger. First off.... perfect fit for my office desk and area and it feels like a first class seat. I'm 6'2 225lbs and it fits and feels like a very fine leather glove. You can lock the recline in any position and recline without the foot rest up. With the foot rest up you can easily relax or fall asleep in front if the big screen. It is the perfect office chair/cinema like recliner and the right size. Although it does not roll (only swivles)... the very light weight makes it easy to push forward or back if needed. Now some small cons for those out there who have come across this product; and many of these have been brought up in prior reviews on this product. First, it sits low and does not adjust in height. For a tall guy like me it took time to get used to that. Secondly, the foot rest is tough to push back in. This will be trouble for those RV driving retirees. Both my parents tried and struggled to push the foot rest back down. And finally, be cautious of the leather flap between the chair and footrest. One rest of my leg and foot on it and the weight immideately pulled out 3 staples. Easy to fix, but now I know to be very cautious of that section. In all... EXACTLY what I needed and was looking for and worth the cost IMO. Perfect fit and extremely comfortable. ... show more

Great purchase! RV size is so much better than the chairs we had before.
Size: 2 Chairs Color: Chestnut
We are pleased with these chairs. The ones we had before were not rv size and not only blocked the window but took up too much of the space. With these we can swivel and look out the window, or recline, or sit up in different positions. Our feet do hang over the foot section, but it is not uncomfortable. These chairs are also easy to recline and the bottom foot piece is easily pushed back into its spot. We had no problem getting the chair through our door, but it was a little awkward just because of the shape. Overall we are very pleased with our purchase. ... show more

Company stands by product
Size: 1 Chair Color: Putty
The chair arrived in a box, and it must have been too heavy for the FedEx driver because a main screw had snapped that holds the seat to the base, thus rendering it not usable upon arrival. Husband can fix almost anything, or try and rig something to make it right, but in this case he searched in every hardware store of our small town and could not match the bolt caliper or thread. I wrote to the company about the issue. While they never replied to my email, about two weeks later an envelope arrived with the screw and an assembly kit. In the meantime, my husband had gone to the local Autozone and was able to match the bolt up. At least the company stood by their product and sent me a remedy so the chair didn't need to be returned. It's a nice chair, fairly comfy. Not a secure or stableness, as I think it wobbles a bit. I'm 5'9 and almost too tall for it. But it looks great in the living room and works well for small spaces. The design, color, and material are very nice, and the cushions on the arms are very soft to touch. I'd recommend buying it again. ... show more

Short lived
Size: 1 Chair Color: Putty
The first one only lasted about ten months before it had hardware problems. The seams showed stress at about six months. But; my husband loved this chair. He fell asleep in it every day so we decided to get the second chair. This one only lasted a couple months before the seams gave way. Wonderful design but very cheaply constructed. ... show more

Great Recliner!
I'm very pleased with this recliner. I wanted it for a small living room (not for an RV) and it works perfectly. Many other recliners sit on a single short pole (in order to swivel) but this recliner has 2 curved sides that sit on a ring base; as result the base is sturdier while still swiveling very well. I like the way the foot rest extends (with a hand switch) and retracts (by pressing in with one's calves). This chair is also very comfortable and has 2 reclining positions. I like the fact that it takes up less space and is light weight -- all-in-all an excellent recliner for home (or RV). My one complaint is that the few screws needed were not properly packed and it was sheer luck that the screws and bolts were still in the box. (They were rolling around freely.) The box has hand openings (for being carried) and so it was fortunate that these screws/bolts were not lost. (Notice that another reviewer complained about a missing screw.) Whoever is packaging these recliners into their transport boxes needs some more training. ... show more

Cable broke in two months
I bought 2 of these chairs for my RV. One of them had a broke plastic bushing for the slide in the bottom of the box. The other after two months the release cable that let the leg rest out, broke on the leg rest end. It's like a bicycle cable and when it comes out of the end it makes a sharp turn to where it connects, so it wore out fast. bad design. Pretty sure I can replace the cable but haven't yet. Since I have two I switched chairs for now. Wish the leg rest came up further. They look great, comfort is not bad. But wouldn't buy them again. I don't like to leave bad reviews. But I know they are valuable to others. If this chair isn't used as your main chair it will be fine I guess. But maybe oil the cable so it doesn't break from a bad design. ... show more

So glad I found this chair
Size: 1 Chair Color: Toffee
My wife and I pulled the couch and J-couch out of our motorhome in favor of a couple of chairs. I was looking high and low for a lightweight swivel recliner. I FINALLY found this one that fits the bill perfectly. Quite comfortable (ended up taking my first unintended nap in it within the first day). The chairs fit and finish was fine. It appears to be a well-made product. Buying a bulky item online is always a concern. Who wants to try to repack and return something like this? Thankfully, it arrived without any damage (well protected) and works as expected. Assembly was a snap . . . or, more correctly, a couple of nuts and bolts. Very happy with it. ... show more
