Great LVP Flooring Cutter
This is a great tool that has saved me lots of time! I've been using it for a flooring project for luxury vinyl plank. It cuts my planks very cleanly and gives a nice/clean finish on the boards. I have quite thick rigid core planks, so when I cut them I need to pull down quite hard on the handle and there is a loud bang once the blade cuts through the board, which makes each cut a bit exciting. I was hoping to be able to use this cutter to do rip cuts and cut out sections of my plank, but due to my plank stiffness I haven't found that to be workable, so have been using a jigsaw for all cuts that aren't cross-cuts. I do hope to use this for softer materials in the future, so the rip-cut functionality will come in handy at that time. I do find it a bit tough to get precision cuts on my board markings, not sure if I'm missing something but I have to push the board up to my mark and gently pull the blade down to see where it lands and that takes a bit of time to get the cut just where I want it. I might be missing a mark or some other easier visual way to tell where the cut will land, but I haven't found it yet if it exists. The sharpening stone that it comes with arrived broken in my box, which was a bit of a bummer, but a good portion of the stone is unbroken so it is still semi-usable. This is a great LVP cutter that has saved me a lot of time and mess, cutting vinyl with power tools makes so much mess and this one leaves no mess at all. The guide bar was a bit tough to fit into place initially, but after the first few adjustments it becomes much easier to slot into its spot. t's a joy to use and is well built. I'm happy with this product.

Simplified install
Initially we were going to do our hallway either scoring with a razor then snapping or take each piece out to the miter saw. Both of those methods the more I thought on it just were going to be too much time and considering it is a limited resource this cutter was little comparison and won out. Took a little time to get used to the process and I did have some errors where it was tied to me and not the cutting tool. Also I feel like this is safer than manually scoring over and over. To me it is a win because the end results look good and I saved a ton of time by investing in this tool.

Cutting Day in the Waikiki Workshop
I’ve been genuinely impressed with how this rigid‑core vinyl floor cutter performs when you put it into real installation work. Very Sharp Blade—Be Careful Unpacking!!
I haven't used this for my flooring project yet, but I wanted to mention something about the blade. Admittedly, I stupidly grabbed it while unpacking it without thinking about where the blade would be, so I take responsibility for that. However, the blade is extremely sharp and I do think it should have had some kind of safety covering over it. I was unpacking it carefully, and still ended up cutting my finger. I can only imagine how much worse it could be if someone was in a hurry and grabbed it without realizing how exposed and sharp the blade is. The cutter itself looks sturdy and well made, but definitely be very careful when unpacking and handling it.

Professional vinyl plank cutter
This vinyl plank cutter is a version that surprisingly makes rip cuts as well as cross cuts at any angle. The unique blade configuration overhangs a pocket about 5” to allow for the rip cuts and much easier cross cuts because of the super wide opening. The blade is. Crazy sharp and cuts fast up to 9mm about 3/8” it’s completely dust free, fast and portable making it worth the buy in just one flooring job. I have a different version of this that also cuts hardie plank. And it’s awesome, this version unfortunately only cuts vinyl.
