I was impressed that all the main parts are made from metal, I was expecting most of it to be plastic. The spring tension in the clip is also quite strong, so I’m confident it will stay attached to my golf bag at the range. The phone clamps seems to work okay too. It’s a little tight for my iPhone 14, but seems good enough. My only complaint is the phone holder is very close to the ball joint, so it makes it a little tricky to position when taking video. But overall, I’d recommend!

"This product is NOT DESIGNED FOR USE WITH GOLF BAGS, despite its claims. I really wanted to like it, but it ended up damaging both my iPhone and my golf bag during installation. The phone holder is poorly designed—too narrow and small to accommodate my iPhone 14 properly. I had to force the phone into the holder, which resulted in damage to my phone. Additionally, the clamp is positioned too close to the phone holder, making it incredibly difficult to adjust without interference. After further research, I found several similar products priced under $10, none of which claim to be specifically designed for golf bags. This product does not live up to its marketing and is simply not functional for golfers. I do not recommend it."

This thing gets the job done and it’s not even a question. Everything is made easy, from clipping it onto your golf bag to securing your phone and positioning it to film in whichever direction you need it to. It’s a really awesome product and made me think about my swing more simply because I have the option to film myself swinging. I don’t need to worry about asking someone else to film me, which is liberating. Highly recommend.

There were no assembly instructions included in the packaging, so I didn't know how to put this together. It's quite heavy, so might be a bit much for attaching to a golf bag. Great concept, but needs some work on how to properly execute.

The product is made of metal and seems like it would be nice. However don’t let the weight fool you. The rubber pads on the ends of the clips aren’t even glued in place. They slip off all the time. The actual phone clamp is cheap and clunky. The ball and socket joint to rotate your phone’s angle is awkward and difficult to get just right.

The product is very well made. Quality materials and just feels solid. When you make a swing, you think you are doing one thing but you are really doing something else. The camera doesn't lie. The SwingScout makes it easy to video your swing and make corrections. Really good product.
