  • Nice upgrade from factory
Style: 6"x9" Coaxial Speaker
I bought the Recoil 8" sub to replace the blown factory sub in my 04 4runner. I was so impressed with the quality, that I bought these 6x9's to replace the failing front door speakers. The factory JBL speakers are component in the front door. I simply removed the factory speaker and crossover and installed these. The factory speakers are 2ohm and these are 3ish. It's hard to find 2ohm 6x9's that don't break the bank. I was worried these may be a little quiet based on the slightly higher ohm rating. Once I got them hooked up, I found that they were sufficiently loud and sounded great. It has great bass as well as quality mid and treble. It's just a good sounding speaker. I think I will end up buying the 6.5's to replace the rear door speakers as well. I'm just really impressed with the quality and value of Recoil. ... show more

  • 1980 cj5 dash speakers 5.25
Style: 5.25" Coaxial Speaker
Fits perfectly in stock dash positions on 1980 CJ5. Good sound from 5.25 speakers. They would be better rated if they had supplied leads and clips for the spade connections. I soldered the connections because I didn’t have the proper crimp clips. Still good product though

  • Surprised me
Style: 5.25" Coaxial Speaker
For a relatively new and unknown brand to me, these speakers have it covered. I drive a Jeep wrangler with no top, and the sound these speakers put out is loud and crisp. The highs, the mids and the bass are all there. Totally recommend these as a viable option to Kickers.

  • not bad but, very "bright" sounding
Style: 6"x9" Coaxial Speaker
for the price they're not bad at all. they're certainly far better than the blown stock speakers in my Corolla. with adapters they fit well and function perfectly. bass production is far less than I expected from them and the highs are much brighter than I think they should be. heavy use of the EQ in the stock stereo shows they can produce a more natural sound. the lack of bass could realistically be caused by the stock stereo. ... show more

  • Saddlebag speakers
Style: 6"x9" Coaxial Speaker
Mounted these in the saddlebags on my road king so far they sound great up to about 65 mph.

  • Great little speaker
Style: 4" Coaxial Speaker
First of all these aren’t putting down any real bass and really just a hint of mid-bass. With that said they are great accent speakers to add more high range sound. I have them hooked up as a second set of rear speakers on a separate amp in the hatch area of a Camaro. Hooked to a 50watt amp (per channel) and they get pretty loud and with the proper tuning on my amp they don’t sound bad at all. Powered directly by the stereo itself will take a bit of tuning to get them to sound good ... show more
