It looked the same as the Weber stone, which I have had for several years and have cooked lots of pizzas on quite successfully. I cooked two pizzas today—one on the Weber stone and one on this one—and it cracked in half!! Spend the extra money and buy the Weber Stone. It does not tell you this on the Amazon page, but the box does indicate that you should not be over an open flame - but even in my oven, you would be over an open gas flame. ... show more

    • Don’t use it on a grill.

I followed the instructions and wet the stone prior to the first use. I did use it on the grill which it advised not to do but it was at a lower temp. It broke. Oh well I ordered a different one specifically for the grill.

Loved this so much we bought a 2nd. We use these for smoking pizzas on our smoker. The crust is nice and crispy on the bottom but chewy in the middle. We have used them several times and so far they have been durable.
