  • Very nice
Got the first one and it had a weird humming sound as soon as it turned on and within 30 seconds it had the cab full of smoke. Custom service sent out a new one the same day before even sending the other one back. Hooked it up and it works great and sounds great. Happy with my purchase

  • Power and clean , wish it has Allen connections
Very amp puts a lot of power small footprint makes it easy to melt I do wish it used the barrel style Allen connections instead of the spades as I feel that that's kind of a weak link and makes the connections longer than they need to be sticking off the app little bit less clean if they could update that this thing were definitely be more than a five-star. ... show more

  • Great little amp for the price
I own a lot of vehicles and I gotta have a lil bump in each one. Owning 7 different car audio systems can get pricey so the work truck ended up with the leftovers from storage. This lil amp is running 4 coaxial speakers at 2ohm stereo off the front channels and a pair of Memphis 10s bridged at 2 ohm mono off the back channels. It is more than enough for my lil single cab pickup. I have had no issues with overheating and the compact size is just perfect as it can be put just about anywhere. Previously trying a small Taramps 4 channel there was a ton of noise and fuzz, this amp has none of that and sounds great. ... show more

  • No luck finding the 1200 so here I am
I have bought a few things from Recoil and I must say everything I have purchased has far exceeded my expectations. I went looking for another 4 channel model that is bigger @1200 watt after watching a Dyno video showing the true power the amp puts out but apparently they don’t have any available now or ever it seems but this little guy makes its numbers and the only thing I will say I do not like about it and I would not have bought it had I noticed is those stupid spade ♠️ terminals ugh. They are almost as bad as angled ones. Anyways it’s not the sellers problem that I didn’t notice the connections before I bought it and I don’t think it’s right to send it back like that. My mistake, my problem ... show more

  • Great performance in small package
Amp puts out incredible power for its size. Mine is installed under the trunk floor tray of my Pontiac and you can’t even see it when the bottom is down. Sounds great. Satisfied with my purchase.

  • It busted my bubble.
I had high hopes for this amp. However I have had issues with it from day one. the screw downs for the wires are narrow and is difficult to get wire under the screw downs in the slot without unscrewing the nut almost all the way out for the wire to be in the correct position to slide in for me to tighten down. Even then the terminal still didn't feel tight. I use 12 gauge speaker wire and went down to a 14 ga wire with the same results. Having to play with these terminals while the amp was in place was not fun, so I would have to remove the unit from the set position causing more work getting the wires and cables back into show quality viewing. The same goes for the power and ground terminals The amount of time this one amp took to wire up with firm and secure connections took me almost as long as it took for the whole system install just so I could feel comfortable with the termination of the wires Also every once in a while, it would stop playing sound and then would work correctly again after a couple of turning the unit off and on when I exit my car and get back in to drive again. I do not have any issues with any of my other amps or other cables. Wires that work on my other components just fine. As well as the wires with the recoil amp work fine on all my other amps. Avoid this amp and pay more for a different product. The warranty process would cost almost half of the cost of the amp itself. And YES you have to pay for the shipping there and back but expect them to deny your request for warranty for whatever reason because they have a lot of not covered under warranty clauses that really limit your warranty ... show more

  • Best Budget Amp on the Market!!!
I saw this amp "dyno'd" (tested) a few times on on a few YouTube videos. I decided to give it a try! Boy I'm glad I did! I added it to compliment my aftermarket Joying head unit and Kenwood speakers. I was concerned that the amp would overwhelm the speakers, as they are 50 watts rms. Most pros state your amp should be only 1 1/2 times above your speaker rms. That would be 75 watts rms. Well the amp is 125 watts rms. They compliment each other quite nicely! The sound is so crisp! The highs are alive and the bass is surprisingly very low. I have the high pass filters set at about 80hz. The speakers can tolerate a 30hz low. This setup has me contemplating the need for a subwoofer! I hope this review helps someone! Happy Driving!!! ... show more
