We originally ordered this to use in our shower area (not IN the shower, but nearby) because it's rather dark there. However, we decided that we like it much better in our closet. It's nice and bright and makes a HUGE difference in the closet. Before, we had some small rechargeable motion lights in there, but this on easily hung on the ceiling and comes on when we open the door. We can see everything we need to without having to move the light at all (we had to move the smaller motion lights to see some things). The price was a bit high, in my opinion but, for as well as it works so far, I'd say it was worth it to have a nice, bright closet now. I may order another one for the other closet. ... show more

Like works great, I have tried a couple of different lights for various closets and spaces that needed a bit and this is my favorite so far. Charging is simple, motion detection works well, and the installation is super simple. That is my favorite part. The adhesive sticks well enough and popping it off the metal plate to charge it is super each. Real good balance of light and function, being able to change the warmth a bit is nice too. You would be amazed at how long this thing holds a charge. I put it up in my bathroom because the light switch is in a very inconvenient spot. I’ve had it up there for over two months, in our main bathroom, and still no need to recharge it. And when it comes time to recharge it it very easily pops off the magnetic holder. Extra light that does its job in areas where the motion detection is helpful. Doesn't require tons of charging if you're not relying on this light source for hours. However, the self stick pads that come with it is trash, and will often come loose in humidity. Buy yourself a pack of better stick-on pads for a few bucks and use those instead. ... show more

I used both the sticky strip and screws so any humidity wont cause it to fall and wow, what a difference. Now, I'm only a couple days in, but I love this so much. I ordered 3 of these. They are perfect for what I needed. My laundry room had no light and running electric lines to the room was turning out to be near impossible. The white setting provides perfect light to be able to see and do the laundry without having to have a flashlight. The motion sensor is also great in this room as we have to walk through it constantly to get out to the back of the house, no need to find a switch, just boom light to see your way!! I put another on my back porch (mind the mess, we been living on the porch due to hurricane Milton damage). It's another perfect solution for light where there is no power lines run, and all the AMAZING colors make it a great fun light to set the mood for the evenings! The 3rd one I put in my bedroom. Its a very large room and has a ceiling light on one side but not the other, which is where my closet and dressing area is, kinda need a light to see what your choosing to wear. It's also another great place to have the different colors for mood setting, as my room is my place of peace, I love having the different colors of light. Another great thing is they are RECHARGEABLE!!! Being held to the ceiling by magnets they are easy to come down and put back up, no tools required which is great. The only downfall of these lights are they only have about 7 hours of run time so they have to be charged frequently, depending how much you use them, which for me is almost daily, others maybe not so much. It would be better if they lasted longer, but they are rechargeable and no electrical work required. Installation was super easy, maybe 5 minutes each, another pro, it gets frustrating when you order something and then spend forever trying to figure how to get it installed. Even better, since they are held up by magnets, if I go camping I will now have 3 extra lights I can take for during the nights in the woods. Great price and what an amazing solution when you need lights and cannot run electric lines to the area the lights are needed. Highly recommend!! ... show more

Broke already..I’ve had this device since March 5. So two months in and the remote no longer works on the device so I have no way of controlling it anymore. Not sure if I got a faulty one but I enjoyed it while it worked greatly. Super disappointing. :(
