Nice design, lithium ion inside a case the shape of a D-cell battery. Quick to charge, good voltage output. My goal was to use this to power a portable radio, which is still useful in areas without internet access. I should have done more research before buying as the problem I found is discussed on the web. Lithium ion batteries create way too much interference to use with a radio, making the AM band effectively buzzing and dead. FM radio works well, though I think the signals are reduced. Also, you cannot use the lithium ion batteries in high drain application, such as in a photo flash. If you need a battery for something non-radio and slow draining, like a flashlight or a fan, it will work great. Beware of the limitations of this battery type. Sometimes the older battery technology is better.

They don't last as long as an alkaline battery but I only use 2 at a time. Easy to recharge. Next time I will see if there is a bigger amp-hour rating.

2 out of 8 batteries will not charge. No ability to contact seller to get replacements for the 2 defective batteries so will have to return all 8 and get a refund. Good idea if it worked.
