The combination of heat and massage Is incredibly effective in reducing muscle stiffness and promoting relaxation. Brand new out of the box I charged it according to the instructions 1-16-25. Today was my first use and display is missing sections, power button shorts out, which makes it interesting to shut off. Turning on, it is difficult to know what to set it to with some of the pixels not lit for 1, 4, and 5 and something before those numbers. ... show more

This item i going to do the job. Only two minor complaints keeping this from a 5 star review: #1 - It provides moderate heat on it's highest setting. You'll get some warmth but nothing close to something like a heating pad. Might be a safety issue to how hot they can make it with the motors and gears also working simultaneously, but something to note if you were expecting significant heat while using. #2 - There is a tethered remote to adjust the settings. It works fine, but would be nice if it were a foot longer. You'd like to have it in your hand as you lay flat by your waist, but the remote will barely go half way don your torso, so when adjusting the settings you either want to lay it on your chest, or you find yourself trying to reach back to find it without looking as to not interrupt the massage. This is still very nice and these are very minor complaints. ... show more
