★★★★★ Surprisingly Effective Full-Body Massage Mat – One of My Better Purchases This Year ★★★★★ I bought this COMFIER Full Body Massage Mat primarily to help with back, shoulder, and lower back tension, and after using it regularly for several weeks, I can honestly say it has exceeded my expectations. The first thing I noticed was how versatile it is. I've used it on my recliner, sofa, and bed, and it works well in all three settings. Personally, I get the best experience using it in my recliner where the massage nodes seem to line up perfectly with my back. The mat is also easy to move around and store when not in use. The shiatsu massage feature is much more effective than I expected. Many massage products I've tried in the past felt weak or gimmicky, but this one provides a firm kneading motion that actually feels like it's working on tight muscles. I especially like using it on my upper back and shoulder blade area after spending long hours sitting at a desk. The lower back massage is also very helpful after yard work or other physical activities. The heat function deserves special mention. It's warm enough to help relax muscles and make the massage more comfortable without becoming excessively hot. I often turn on the heat and let the massage run for 20 to 30 minutes in the evening while watching TV. It has become one of my favorite ways to unwind at the end of the day. There are 2 heat intensities, and they provide more than enough heat! Another feature I appreciate is the vibration settings. While the shiatsu massage is the star of the show, the vibration adds another layer of comfort and relaxation. Being able to adjust the settings allows me to customize the experience depending on whether I want a more vigorous massage or simply some gentle relaxation. The controls are intuitive and easy to learn. I didn't have to spend time reading a complicated manual to figure everything out. Within a few minutes I was able to select different massage zones, adjust the heat, and find settings that worked best for me. Build quality also seems very good. The fabric feels durable, the stitching is solid, and everything has continued to work perfectly after repeated use. It feels like a well-designed product rather than a cheaply made gadget. When it comes to automated massage units, I am all in. I go for the limited application units to the full-size do-it-all chairs. Today’s review covers A full body massage mat released by Comfier, one of my favorite resources. By adapting a cushioned graphene heating chair massage pad for standalone use on a recliner of most any sort, Comfier offers an easy-to-store massage mat featuring kneading, heating, vibration, and various ranges in between settings. Things I like most about this unit: 1) It’s lightweight and easy to manage 2) Offers soft, comfortable, and cushioned full-body support 3) Features various independent settings for kneading, heat, and vibration 4) Keeps the kneading aggressive yet comfortable 5) Enables the use of all functions as independent or a group process 6) Limits the rollers to back-only performance, yet this is fine because it covers my entire back from the upper neck down to the bottom of my spine, this being a task where many massage pads fall short. 7) Leaves me feeling rested and relaxed, and with no painful side-effects 8) Includes competent instructions for use 9) Comes in at a reasonable price Things I don’t like: 1) May be a mite costly when compared to similar units by the same vendor 2) Folds up for storage, but still requires considerable storage space—this is a necessary tradeoff for the comfort of the padding. I am not permitted to state what physical injuries I endure that motivated me to purchase this particuular back massager or this review will be rejected. Suffice it to say that my body endured physical challenges while serving in the military during the Vietnam war. These observations are meant to help anyone contemplating whether or not to purchase this particular massager. I have an engineering mindset so I offer a quick and detailed review. Short review: This back massager does an effective job working on my back. It looks very nice and has durable materials. The remote has several selections. This massager now stays in my recliner and is used several times a day. Overall I am pleased with its performance. There are some annoying issues, but I will live with them because it does such a great job on my back in making my back feel better so my body function better. Detailed version of product review: I purchased this particular Comfier back massager for several reasons. I have purchased other Comfier massagers and have been pleased with the durability and function. I have some small Comfier massagers that are around 15 years old and still working. I have purchased other brands that quickly stopped functioning. I am up in years and wanted a massager that did not bruise my muscles or was painful to use. The massage heads are medium in height so they don’t press on my spine or muscles causing pain. Those who are elderly with thinner skin will enjoy this massager. I threw away other brands that hurt to use or stopped working. I can press my back into this massager and the massager does not complain or stop rotating. I say this because other brands would stop when I did this. The padding is thicker than other brands I hve purchased - supportive. Other brands were thin so I easily felt hard plastic inner parts that did not feel good, felt like laying on a baseball - ouch! The outer shell uses a leatherette material and breathable cloth. It comes with a detachable top cover I don’t use because I want to feel the massager operating. This is easy to clean. Controller cord is a decent length. Other brands use shorter cords. Main shiatsu massage heads are comfortable and for my medium build, travel between my armpits to my belly button belt line area. Some other massagers are longer and have a longer area where the massage heads work. I would have preferred that the massage heads would have worked on my shoulders and neck area. This is a shame because many buyers seek a product that works on shoulders and neck tension. A picture shows someone laying on this pad in bed so I guess you could do that if you wanted to work on shoulders. There is a selection of three speeds for massage heads action. The vibration areas deliver a deep vibration that delivers a relaxing workout. This does so well that I find myself falling asleep because it feels so good. This vibration does a good job on my back and leg pain. Other brands give an annoying buzz like a bee hum that I avoid. Another brand gave an enjoyable thumping action, but unfortunately it only lasted about 20 uses. The controller gives a selection of three intensities. I would have prefered the controller to light up better so I could see in darker areas. The button selections do light up, but you will need lights on to see where the buttons are. Some brands have a tactile set of dots you can feel without looking. When I am working on rehabbing my back, I often use this in the dark. There are three slight annoying characteristics that I can live with. The top head cushion is thick and supportive, but easily flops down. The leatherette attaching straps would have been better if attached in the back edge instead of front. Some brands have a rubbery bottom that helps the mat not slide easily on the chair. The bottom leg cushion is short and the seam is on top instead of on the bottom. This causes the cushion to stick straight out instead of folding down in front of the chair. Because the bottom cushion is short, the vibration action stops around my knees instead of working the calve areas. Even though this massaging cushion costs a little more than other brands, the Comfier Brand has shown over many years to be very dependable, giving years of service. I am glad I have this mat. The other smaller Comfier products can now be stored because this is what I use now. As for the star rating, I did take a star away for the floppy headrest and leg cushion that does not fold down. I posted a picture of the cushion in my recliner and another of the controller.

I’ve tried a few massage mats before, but this one is one of the best I tried The shiatsu rollers are surprisingly powerful. They actually move up and down your back and really get into those deep muscle knots. It honestly feels very close to a real hands-on massage, especially after a long day at work. This massage pad also has heating which is a nice add on. What I love most is how versatile it is. I’ve used it on my bed, couch, and even on a recliner, and it works great in every position. The fact that it’s foldable makes it super easy to store or adjust depending on how you want to use it. The vibration and heat functions are a huge bonus. The heat kicks in pretty quickly and adds a really soothing touch, while the different vibration modes let you customize the experience depending on how tense you feel. It’s become part of my daily routine now. Also worth mentioning — the material feels premium and comfortable against the skin, not cheap or rough like some others I’ve tried. The extra padding over the rollers really helps balance intensity and comfort. Overall, this feels like one of those “why didn’t I buy this sooner” products. Great value for the price, and I’ve already recommended it to friends and family.

I just received my pad and immediately plugged it in hoping I got different results from other reviews I read. 1. 6 settings. #6 is hot. 2. Becareful because the plug adapter on the pad GETS VERY HOT TOUCH. -i can not touch it w my fingers. 3. The straps are great. But in the way for me because I'm using it on my arm. I honestly thought it wld wrap great but it dont. Around the waist for the back or stomach wld be perfect 👌. But i need it for my arm. 4. The pad is sooooo soft. I love that. 5. Easy to use. Simple 3 buttons. Up down and power. 6. Cord its long and allows seating movement ...Man this thing gets hot. Im sittn here loving this on my arm. Helps my hypersensitivity and excruciating pain after ulnar nerve entrapment surgery. Although I'm not using this as it it meant for larger wrapping, I really like this improvision for my arm. Lastly, Becareful n don't get burned Update: this is really superb 👌 the heat is giving 🔥. Idk how ppl are complaining about it not hot enough. I feel it through layers. It gets hot in secs of power on. Buy it!

It’s a very light weight pad, u can sit up or lie down. Pressure is ok. It doesn’t massage the neck and shoulders, that would be a great option: quality seems ok and it should hold up nicely. The vibration is strong. You do have the option of changing the intensity of the vibration. The heat setting is great. I wish there were options on the settings of how u want the width the kneading and rolling or karate chops lol. But it’s ok not what I was hoping for tho.
