After trying multiple batteries, this one physically fits my Skybell, and has been working for a couple of days now without any noticeable issues. This product is replacing a 3 pin (1.25mm) 350mAh 3.7v battery. The original battery that swelled up had 3 wires, but this battery only has 2. Despite this, the battery still seems to fit without the use of the third yellow wire. The red/black polarity seems to be flipped as well, however, the connection still works and gives my doorbell power. I definitely do not recommend going off-spec. However, with Skybell tech support being so utterly useless (going so far as recommending I buy a battery that does not even physically fit), I was left on my own to attempt a fix. ... show more

    • Watch the polarity... inconsistent even among their photos
Notice that most of their photos show an incorrect orientation of the red/black wires but the close-up one showing the connector dimensions is correct -- correct being defined for me as matching how Adafruit sets up their connectors. The one I received was wired incorrectly. Actually, that was the second attempt to get an actual battery... the first time I received some random parts that had been returned. Battery was exactly as described, and was shipped very quickly - I received it in two days! I removed the tiny circuit board (BMS?) and cable with connector as I didn't need it for my application. The battery tabs soldered directly to the board of my application and the battery is working properly. Seems to be a decent quality cell.
