I mounted this storage box on the passenger side of the bed in a 2023 GMC 2500 Sierra HD. I did not set a stopwatch but I would bet it was less than 4 minutes to completely install and that included reading the instructions. Just your screw gun with a socket driver for tools is all that I used. Everything fit well and everything aligned as if GMC had made it. The included self drilling screws were of a noticeable high quality and quickly penetrated the side of the bed and drew snug commandingly. The storage is exactly what is needed in the bed of a truck. The overall design of the box in my opinion, is very well thought out with the addition of the storage tray and removal prevention lock for the hinge. The swing release handle (I’m making up the names here😀) works smooth and easy. It uses space that’s normally unused in a truck bed. The main flaw. The only flaw I can find is simple. This is the perfect accessory for that unusable space behind the wheel wells that often goes unused. I now store cleaning supplies, wax, small hand tools and retractable ratchet straps and safety equipment. They can also be easily removed without tools or removing the hardware, making this space available if required. I couldn’t be happier. Great engineering and very sturdy. Ordered both driver and passenger Swing Cases. Passenger side arrived in perfect condition. Driver side appeared ok until I open the case itself. Great use of storage in a space that was unused. Quality is great, but common sense tells me that don't be crazy and overload these boxes and drive down rough roads expecting them to hold up. I make sure to load the heaviest object close to hinge as possible, but that's just me. I LOVE these especially with a bed cover. This toolbox is awesome. It fit great in my Chevy 2500 short bed. It was easy to install and seems to be made of good quality. May seem a little small for some people, but it’s perfect for me. This product certainly works as storage, but has some major draw backs. Can't get it for driver side or it will block the lever used to get into truck bed. If you use it on passenger side it blocks the 120vac outlet into bed. It also interferes with truck bed with lid is completely open. Pretty flimsy when it's not locked it place. Was hoping mine would work good for my dirtbike setup but honestly it really hinders using a bike in the truck since you can't have the bike up against it since it's so flimsy. If I could go back in time I wouldn't have purchased it, but not I have holes in my truck bed and no way to return so here I am. ... show more

I want to state that this swing box is vehicle specific and this review is on a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. If your like me, nothing goes as planned. Before I installed this box I watched a few instal videos online and thought that this is way too easy. Instructions were good w/ pictures but I got nervous when there were no actual measurements as to lining it up, it states "line up as shown" however, this was literally one of the easiest things I've ever done taking me about 15 minutes to install. It also comes with a pivot lock to keep a stranger from removing it as it is removable. I definitely recommend this box. ... show more
