The instructions to install were very clear and easy to follow and the fit and finish is perfect. It really looks great on the truck! I bought some additional weather stripping to put around the tailgate and the bed is now water tight. Combine this cover with a tailgate lock and your bed will be much more secure from a thief looking to grab and go. The security along with the protection of what I keep in the bed from the elements has made this an outstanding purchase. I can't stress enough how perfectly this thing fits. So I waited a few months to write a review on this cover; I purchased it at the beginning on March 2010. Now, I had been looking for some sort of tonneau cover that would allow me to easily remove it when I needed to utilize the bed and I knew the hard covers were just not going to cut it for me due to the time expended removing it. I had probably been looking off and on for 2 years when I ran across this cover. Now I was very skeptical since I had seen many "soft" covers that were cheap, looked like they would disintegrate at freeway speeds, and would allow a flood of water to enter the bed during the rain. I read a few reviews on this cover and everyone that owned it pretty much addressed my issues on their reviews and said it worked great, so I bought it. Very good decision on my part! It literally took me 30-40 minutes to install, it's very snug utilizing the velcro siding and tension adjustment, and I've taking my truck through numerous car washes and not a drop of water inside. When I was installing it, I actually stripped one of the screws for a clamp, so I called the company customer service, gave them my address, and they shipped me a new clamp which I received maybe a few days later. I'm very happy with this purchase as it is everything and a little more than what I was wanting. 5 months later and it still appears brand new and is nice and snug on the bed. I love that it doesn't waiver in the wind as I drive, just solid and snug. ... show more

Installation was relatively easy. The unit fit perfectly without adjustment, but the aluminum brackets to clamp to the bed rails seemed like they were going to yield based on the recommended torque. Other than that, the cover stretches tight and looks good.

I've been searching for a new Tonneau for a while now, the old one had seen better days. I knew I did NOT want another "snap on" version as they just don't seem to last like they should. I looked at a LOT of reviews and this one was the brand I finally settled on (great overall numbers and one of the lower prices? CHECK please). First of all, the entire shipment arrived about 5 days earlier than Amazon had predicted! This created a minor problem in that I had not yet removed the OLD cover and frame from my truck (and believe me, this was the LONGEST part of installation). Once I got everything off and laid out for the new TruXedo, I went to work. It took just a bit to determine where everything needed to go and consider the most logical way to install everything without driving the truck outside the garage (and into the rain/snow mix). I'd say start to finish, installation took maybe 15 minutes (and would have been quicker if I did this outside where I had unlimited space). The cover fit snugly and only needed two small tweaks to the clamps once everything was on. A quick test drive (in the now SERIOUS rain) and inspection showed no leaks and overall a very good, secure look. Very happy with product at this point and I hope it lasts as long as the system I removed! ... show more

I installed my unit yesterday, 18 July 2013. It looks GREAT on the truck right now being new, shiny, and fresh. It actually should have been about 3/4" wider for my application on a 2007 Chevy Classic 6.5' bed. Even so, it looks good and will work fine. It takes a bit more time than the videos might have you believe to install, but it is not really hard to do at all, and I installed it by myself too. Once you have on the 3 rails of the bed, and the clamps loosely applied, you can work it around from side to side to get it centered, fit, and ready to put the top into the spring loaded side rails locking devices. The spring loaded tentioning is a novel and good idea: it will keep it snug at all times and in all weather conditions from hot to cold. It raises the top of the bed about 1.5 inch and it does look nice. I would and DO prefer this method over the old way of snaps and such to hold the cover on: no holes to drill for the snap bottoms to fit into, etc. I sure hope the material lasts well and is as easy to care for as it looks now..... it looks good. It is very easy to remove this entire thing in about 5 minutes, and it leaves nothing behind for it does no damage to the bed of the truck! Along the sides there is velcro all the way along the rails to hold the top material down firmly.... it does NOT hold it very tighly..... the velcro is actually quite weak, but in use, it just does not seem to need much strength in the velcro to keep it all down and tight looking at all, so I guess that all is well. Next year I will update this eval. I hope this helps.... enjoy! ... show more

I bought this for my 2000 Chevy Silverado. I wish I had bought this long ago. It is easy to install, easy to roll up, and easy to roll out. I love the integrated support rails and the rear spring tensioner that keeps it snug. It does a good job of keeping the rain out. While it doesn't keep out 100% of the rain, it keeps out most of it. It also has integrated clips to keep it in place when rolled up. It is easy to use in both warm weather and cold. It adds a touch of class to my aging truck. My first tonneau cover was a pain. The rails were not integrated with the cover and had to be stored separately when it was rolled up. The cover had proprietary clips that never worked as well as the manufacturer claimed, and it was difficult to deploy during cold weather. This cover is everything my old cover wasn't. I highly recommend this cover to anyone who is looking for a soft, roll-up style tonneau cover. ... show more

This is absolutely what I was looking for in a truck bed cover! I was looking for one where I could have the whole bed accessible within seconds and that didn't require removing of anything in order to get there. VERY EASY INSTALLATION. I probably could have guessed exactly how to do it, but I decided to watch a video on YouTube just to be safe. After watching the video installation took me 10 minutes if not less. After installing and driving down the interstate at 75mph, it looked like the cover was going to parachute off of the truck (as other reviewers have stated) due to air getting underneath the front side of the cover. What I didn't realize before is that I have bed rail covers that are maybe a quarter of an inch thick causing the front rail of my bed (by the rear window) to have a gap between it and the bed cover allowing mass airflow to get up inside the bed. After buying some weather stripping from Lowes and installing under the front of the bed cover, this problem was fixed and the cover worked flawlessly. My truck has sat and been driven through some serious downpours as well as been through 3 car washes and not a drop of rain has entered the bed since I installed. This cover is a MUST HAVE for someone who wants access to their whole bed in seconds and doesn't want to pay the price for a hard plastic tri-fold cover. .....Installed on my 2006 Sierra Denali..... ... show more
