After doing a lot of research on tonneau covers, I quickly discovered that there are thousands of options and that some of them are pretty pricey. After looking at the retractable models (priced well north of $1400), I decided I would rather stay married than get one of those. I opted for the Truxedo Truxport based upon the combination of price and user reviews. The product came quickly and was well packaged in a single (long) box. The product was complete and installation directions were well written and easy to follow. I also found several helpful installation videos on YouTube. My son and I were able to install it on my 2021 F350 in about 45 minutes. Installation was pretty simple and required only a 1/2 in wrench and a pair of scissors. I was very impressed with the quality of the rails and the cover material. The cover stretches very tight and looks great on the truck. No adjustments were necessary. Shortly after we finished the installation, we were hit with a very powerful summer thunderstorm with wind driven rain. The rain lasted for over an hour. After the storm passed, I went out to see how the cover did. There were a few drips but, on the whole, I was pretty impressed. I would say there as less than half a cup of water in the bed. Bear in mid that the truck was not moving so performance may not be as good with the truck running down the road. I will post an update after a few months to discuss how it performs over time. I did note that the rails do cover the stake pockets on the sides of the truck so if you need those for anything, this might not be the cover for you. First Impressions: Pros: - The price point is hard to beat - I paid $299. - Ease of installation is excellent - Quality of workmanship is impressive - Full access to the bed of the truck with the cover rolled up Cons: - It is a soft cover and will not provide much protection for your gear. Update 9/29/2021: Well I have been driving the truck with the Truxedo Truxport installed for a few months now. I have driven at interstate speeds in heavy rain (including Hurricane Ida) and I have to say I am pretty impressed with the performance of this cover. Purchased to function with the RealTruck Truckmate, which I believe were designed to pair seamlessly. They do. Installed in less than an hour all together. I’ve owned several size trucks and had had a couple different covers. Happy with the soft roll up, but when I saw a cover with duel function as a partial fold from the cab I had to check it out. Minor complaint about the flimsy way it folds to expose the truckmate, but capability isn’t sacrificed. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something similar. ... show more

This cover fit the bill. I wasn’t sure if I would like the material, but after looking at other bed covers, I really like the matte finish and the cloth over a traditional vinyl covering material. In my opinion, it will be much lower maintenance. I have noticed that this has stayed dry throughout the last week of getting dumped on in California. The only place I had any water was right along the tailgate because it is hard to seal those areas. It has been easy to use once I got the tension right and it stays snug. In the mornings it is less snug and as the day warms up it gets more snug. Overall I am very pleased! I only have a few gripes: 1. The original cover was damaged in shipping because my long bed meant 8 foot long rails so the box was accordioned on one end breaking a plastic end cap. The rail with the latch was bowed as well which made it really hard to close the cover with the tailgate up. The manufacturer was willing to send me an end cap but recommended returning it because of the bowed rail. Amazon stepped up and took it back and I ordered another one which arrived in much better shape. 2. The instructions are not clear in adjusting the tension screws and even the tech help could not outline the process. My experience is the adjustment is more magic than science. I let the screws out until tension was only applied in the last few inches before latching. This keeps the cover snug and allows it to close easily with the tailgate up. 3. Beware of the fact on my particular application the rails extend into the bed about 3 inches per side. For most, this probably won’t be an issue. For those of us that pull 5th wheels, it might be right quarters between the bed rails and pin box. I will find out next month. This would also be a consideration for tool boxes in the bed if you didn’t go with Truxedo’s undercover tool box product. ... show more

I installed this bed cover on my 2019 F-250 yesterday. Although my garage was a balmy 100 degrees, I was able to complete the install in about two hours. To my wife's surprise, the air in the garage didn't turn blue and there was no blood drawn. Installation was pretty much straight forward as long as you read and understand the directions beforehand. I was a little leery at first about installing a soft top as I have always had hard tops in the past, well I was impressed with the quality and the looks, so now we see how it holds up in the extreme heat of this hellhole affectionately known as Tucson. ... show more

For cover under $400 this product is great! Good quality, good fit and easy to install. (Install was easy but had to call CS to get the video) Not as low profile as much more expensive models, but on a F-250 not relevant. :-) For products in the price range would recommend to anyone.
