I bought a used Tacoma that had a Lo Pro on it and swore if I ever got another truck I would only have a Lo Pro cover. While a little bit more expensive than other covers, the quality cannot be beat. The cover is super easy to roll up and stow when carting things around that don't fit under the cover. I seem to attract thieves so having this cover on my bed makes me feel more comfortable leaving things in the bed of my truck with a locked tailgate. I installed this myself - it took me about 45 minutes. Super easy to install once you get the placement of the brackets right. The instructions were easy to understand. I also watched Truxedo installation YouTube video which I found very helpful. It looks great! I know from experience with my previous truck that it holds up and looks great for years. Pictures were taken after it rained. I had a very little bit of moisture up by the tailgate. As far as buying it from Amazon, I ordered it on a Sunday and it was here Tuesday - two days later.     • Almost a year later and I’m still impressed.
It’s been nearly an entire year with this bed cover. Here are some thoughts. Pros - still locks tight - still keeps the bed dry - Velcro is holding up nicely - easy to take off and put back on - easy to install on my Tacoma Cons - shows the dirt - even after a drive through the car wash it was showing all the green pollen. (Needed to be washed by hand.) - wish there was a release button on both sides - the rubber end pieces on the bar that locks tends to walk out. Needed to apply a little adhesive to get them to stay. Not a huge deal, but I’d hate to lose one. Overall this is a fantastic bed cover. Still lays flat and works exactly as intended. ... show more

    • Great, so close to perfect.
I owned an 03 Tundra for more than 10 years and had a Truxedo Truxport on there for probably seven of those ten years. When it was time to get a new cover I immediately looked at the Truxedo brand again due to the good experience I had previously. This cover arrived the day after I ordered and shipped with prime 2-day shipping. Some of the other reviewers are spot on. The material is high quality but it looks like the machinest punched the holes with a 22 rifle. The only other negative was that they shorted me 3 of the 5/16 bolts. They are 7/8 in length which was surprisingly hard to source at the local hardware stores. Anyway, once installed the cover is very nice and in my opinion worth the upgrade from the Truxport, especially considering I saw a Taco with a Truxport on it tonight. I will have to do some tweaking (especially around the tailgate) to make it more water resistant but for now it looks awesome. If the manufacturer would make some minor tweaks to their machining process and counting to six when filling hardware bags this would be spectacular. ... show more

    • Great fit, low profile and looks good
Bought this for my 2017 Tacoma short bed.. took about 30 mins to install (I've never installed one of these before) - The included instructions were OK.. but lookup the installation video on youtube (truxedo lo pro tacoma video) for clearer instructions. The fitment is great and the seals will prevent water from getting into the bed. The roll up design is nice because you don't lose your bed space when retracted. The creases and wrinkles in the cover disappeared after a couple of hours in the hot sun. Also note that you do have to close the tailgate *before* closing/locking down the cover if you want the seal on the cover to lay over the tailgate.. important if you want to keep the bed sealed from rain, etc. The only suggestion I'd have to Truxedo is better quality control. The pre-drilled holes in the rails were a bit sloppy with sharp pieces of drilled metal bits still present.. and the cut edges of the rails are very sharp - for the price, these should be finished better and rounded off properly. Once its installed this doesn't seem to really matter.. but for the price I'd expect a bit better finish quality. Overall, I would recommend this to anybody looking for a tonneau cover for their Tacoma. ... show more

The King is amused 😄👍. Luv the Truxedo Lo pro covers so I got one for my 2019 Toyota Tacoma quad cab with 5ft bed. Easy install and fits perfectly. Definately higher quality then the bargain covers so you get what you pay for. Luv the one touch release latch that pops open the cover. Install tip: watch the Youtube video and your install will be easy breezy lemon squeezy. ... show more

Installed easily within an hour. Uses the stock bed rails for the adjustable tie downs as the anchor points, which was a huge plus instead of using clamps. Fit was great for the 5 foot bed. Does not sit flush with the bed rails, rather the sides sit on top of the bed rails approximately an inch or 2, so it's not super low profile. So pleased with this tonneau cover. It was super easy to put on my 2016 Toytota Tacoma. Looks sharp !! Love the lifetime warranty !! Having some arthritis in hands makes the snap ones difficult. This one is so easy to unroll and roll back up. One flick of thumb and it locks it shut. Love it !!!
