The cover fits perfectly - no gaps, leaks, etc. Installation, folding, removal, and re-installation are a snap! As a side note, while I had not intended to test its load bearing capability, it was nice to know that it held up perfectly to 26 inches of snow accumulation in that storm that hit the NE on 14 March 2017. I had an older version of the cover for an 01 chevy. It lasted really well and stood up to the elements. So I purchased this for my 2016 RAM 1500 Crew cab. It was extremely easy to install bu myself and was in place in less than 1/2 hour. We had really heavy rains and no water came got into the bed. Waiting for the snow to see if this one is a good as the older, but my expectations as of now are it is and will be. ... show more

Haven't seen the increase in mileage that some have, although I did purchase soon after I got the truck, so I didn't have a lot to compare with. I can say this, though... I don't know if I could go back to not having one of these now! It is so handy to just hit the remote lock button and have my truck secured! I can carry tools or other things in the bed and don't have to worry about someone walking away with them. I expected the claims of easy installation to be overstated, but they were right on... once I got used to it, five minutes is a slow install/removal time! So easy to put on and take off, and now I don't even lay it out flat since I see where it should sit on the front of the bed, I just lay it down, folded up and sinch the two front clamps down, unfold it and flip the back two on and I'm done. Normally about three minutes tops. It is just high enough to fit over my fifth-wheel hitch, keeping it covered and clean when not in use. Wish the hitch was as easy to put in!!! Update: I have had this for about two years and have really enjoyed being able to keep things safe and secure in the bed. It has been through snow, ice and quite a few automated car wash trips and has been very reliable. All the hardware still works as good as the day I installed it. A friend had been watching how mine faired and finally decided it was time to bite the bullet. We had his out of the box, positioned and cranked down in just a few minutes.     • Cheap Clamps front and rear
This was my fifth trifecta and my last the first four were great , received this one last week and I can’t believe how much they have cheapened the clamping hardware, it feels like it will break any minute and the springs are also very cheap and don’t work well at all.

The cover was easy to install, and looks great. The only reason I didn't give it a 5-star rating is the fact that it's not 100% waterproof. I mainly bought this to secure the bed so that our $400 Yeti cooler doesn't get stolen. I was nervous about taking it through an automatic car wash, but it's been through one twice now, and came through with flying colors. Overall it was a great purchasing decision. ... show more

Had a high wind and found my cover in a field across the street. The clamps by the tailgate bent and failed. The clamps by the cab, made from "unbreakable" plastic, broke. One of the corner brackets in the aluminum frame tore out. Can't find my receipt, so the company won't honor the lifetime warranty. I drive faster than the wind was blowing, so I can't say act of god. ... show more
