My first roll up cover was a $200 soft vinyl style with little support and a high profile so, I was apprehensive about dropping over a grand on a bed cover for my new truck. This one is very secure with aluminum slats that lock into the rail. It also sits about 1/8" above the bed rails so it's basically flush. The top is a nice canvas material not vinyl like the cheap ones. It just looks and functions damn good. I love it. I use my truck bed to haul gravel, hay, dirt, tools etc. I also live where it rains half the year. This cover is excellent because you have a lockable, water resistant bed cover to secure gear and tools in while being able to open the bed up to haul whatever. I will seriously put one of these on every truck I buy from now on. ... show more

This is the 7th BAK Revolver I have installed. They are fantastic. Have had them on every truck for the last 4-5 years. Easy to install, easy to operate. Rolls up small. Much better than a 3-piece folding cover.

It’s nice looking but I feel it’s a little over priced. I’m not very happy with the fit. After we received it we read in the papers that with certain years HD Silverado and similar trucks that in order for it to fit properly behind the cab shims have to be placed( all parts needed came in package). It made the installation more difficult than it should’ve been. We have another brand on our other Silverado and I love it. It was very easy to install and It has held up very well, very pleased with it. We thought the revolver 4 would be pretty straight forward like our other one and wanted to try it. Also liked the idea of the locking mechanism the 4 has to offer. The ends of the rails at the tailgate were bent, Had to straighten them in order to fit properly (The box was damaged during shipping). The rail ends behind the cab had large gaps we filled in with pieces of foam to seal them. It’s not as stiff as the other brand either but it’s supposed to be more durable. We will see. the pros: of this cover is the install is pretty straight forward. it is nice and sleek. shipping was fast the cons: it leaks a fair amount even when just parked, one of the plastic covers by the tail gate was broken, the black finish on he underside was all scrapped up. you could tell until it was install and you rolled it up. trying to box it up and send back would have been a serious PITA. Considering the price premium 800-900 more than soft cover, it reaally doesn't offer any more security. it is so flexy you can pull it open enough to release the side latches. One year update. Lowering to 1 star. The cover is almost useless in the winter. The release mechanism is almost always frozen and won’t release to allow rolling the top up ... show more

Bought this because I have spent more on other retractable covers that leak and take up more of the bed. this cover seems nice yet I do still have some leaking issues. After 1 day the small plastic corner piece you see in the pictures just broke off while trying to normally roll up the cover. This piece should be made out of aluminum, (design flaw) if it breaks that easily in just a little bit of cold (35 degrees) that is a big issue with me. Not having the piece allows water to leak in and actually is an easy way for someone to see into the bed and actually makes it a prying point to break into the cover. I'm not sure why when making the cover, they didn't just run the aluminum pieces that meet the tailgate, all the way across. I get the concept of the plastic piece yet if removed it takes a small pick tool and you are into this cover in a minute. So your items in the bed are not secure in any way. I did call customer service on the issue, they are sending me out two new plastic pieces because they know it is an issue. I want every that is looking at this $1,100 cover to know, they are not completely secure or very secure at all and it can easily be accessed when that little plastic cover is removed. ... show more

This truck bed cover/tonneau cover is the bomb! No flapping in the wind, no water leaks, self locking (no Velcro to fuss with) and a clean, cool look are just some of the advantages of this product.
