Excellent cover solution for Silverado 2500. Easy install and very durable. Good fit to the bed, secures items from theft, and opens up enough to haul big items. The rubber seals provided did not seal perfectly but some McGuiver work with additional material sealed it well.

I bought this for me 2024 GMC Sierra HD. The install is straightforward, but because of the design of my truck bed, I could it get the brackets for the rail as close to the tailgate as the instructions specified. Because of this, the rail has too much play at the end and the slam latches don’t work. When I close the last panel, I have to manually squeeze each side to engage the latch. Also, I don’t know if it’s related to the above, but it is not very water tight and a good amount of water leaks in from the sides. Overall I like it, though. I like that I can lift it up to allow full access to the bed (my previous tonneau covers didn’t allow that without removing the whole thing), and I like that it is solid and sturdy. ... show more

I love this cover for my truck. I debated on what to get and this one is perfect. It was fairly easy to install myself and I am what I would call moderately handy. I installed it just before a beach trip and it did exactly what I needed it to do. I love how it has more than the standard 3 flips and I love how it locks itself into place. If I had one suggestion it would be to have some sort of funnel type end for the drain pipes to go into the drain holes in the bed of the truck. Without that, the water still drains into the bed. Although it is a minimal amount, the goal is to keep water out of the bed. I will have to figure out something to make this work the way I want, but otherwise, loving this bed cover so far. ... show more

the pros: of this cover is the install is pretty straight forward. it is nice and sleek. shipping was fast the cons: it leaks a fair amount even when just parked, one of the plastic covers by the tail gate was broken, the black finish on he underside was all scrapped up. you could tell until it was install and you rolled it up. trying to box it up and send back would have been a serious PITA. Considering the price premium 800-900 more than soft cover, it reaally doesn't offer any more security. it is so flexy you can pull it open enough to release the side latches. One year update. Lowering to 1 star. The cover is almost useless in the winter. The release mechanism is almost always frozen and won’t release to allow rolling the top up ... show more

Several years back we got a different brand of cover. Then we decided to get the same brand for our dually. Well, it blew off. Apparently it only connects in the front and in the back, no intermediate connections. I asked around and was suggested BakFlip. We put that on and wow. So, when we got a new truck this year the first thing ordered was a BakFlip Mx4. Now, it wasn't the easiest thing to put on but maybe we were being very exact. The rails in the standard bed have 3 places on each side that are clamped to the truck bed. They are not going anywhere. In our case, when the install was done we had one place that had about a quarter inch rise in it. We broke it back down (easy to do that) and found out that the rail was not pushed down when we tightened the clamp. So we loosened the clamp, pushed the rail down and locked it back in. It is now perfectly installed. The one thing I like is that is low profile. You actually have to be above it to really notice there is a tonneau on the truck. And it is sturdy, it'll hold up to 400 lbs of distributed weight on the cover. Doubt I'll ever try that but it is good to know. I'm ready to take a trip in the truck now. ... show more
