It’s Beautiful & Gives Great Heat! I’m sitting here in record breaking temperatures tonight and I’m very grateful that I bought this beautiful fireplace! It’s beyond bitter cold as he winds have been non-stop for days and nights at a rate of 35 to 59 mph, per the news. I know that because I have to go out in it numerous times of the day and up to 10pm each night. Unbelievably bitter cold. This wonderful fireplace is helping me keep toasty warm, as an assistant for my heat pump. Heat pumps were never made to heat much when the temps reach below 30 degrees I’ve heard. Yes, that’s right! This little 36” fireplace has saved the day and looks absolutely beautiful as well!! The only thing is I waited to open the box and take it out to set it up. I could not find the remote control that should have come with it. Believe me, I looked everywhere in the packing behind things, no remote….So I just ordered another one compatible with this model. Needed to replace my mounted fireplace and chose this one. Beautiful colors and love that you can change the colors of the flames as well as the crystals with a flick of the remote. I haven't tried using the heater yet but tested it once and it worked well.

This is a beautiful device with fun colors and a functional heater. However, there is NO temperature control. Its either blowing at full blast for as long as its on, or the heater/fan combo is off. Based on the description, you should at least be able to toggle between 750 and 1500 W, but both the H1 and H2 settings produce the same output and consume ~1300 W according to my little in-line usage tracker. And the L heat setting doesn't seem to turn on either the heater or the fan. There is a timer to turn it off after a set number of hours, but this is the least "smart" control imaginable. You can see what temperature it is on the little display, but there's no thermostat or set-point control. I originally bought this for my son's room and heard no complaints, but now that I'm using it as an office, I can't believe this basic functionality is not included. Especially considering the description says "easily adjust the temperature." ... show more

This is esthetically pleasing and produces heat appropriate for a small room. Fan noise is not bad but after a coulple uses now makes a ticking sounds that is annoying. Worth the money I paid, but is doing again would probably look for a more expensive model that was quieter.

Its really nice. After installing it. It made and annoying klunking noise. I contacted Amazon by phone and they sent me a replacement. It arrived and I swapped the unit out and it is great no noise on this one. Nice unit but the heat settings are weird but it seems there is a remedy I can try. The heat output is good and it will heat my whole bedroom well I'm sure. ... show more
