Instead of a woman’s size 7, a man’s size 7 was sent. The return has been accepted but the refund has not appeared. It’s been 2 weeks and I’m disturbed that I’ve not heard from the seller. I’ve never had any trouble ordering or returning to Amazon. But the review is only based on the the trouble I’m experiencing getting my refund. The shoes looked fine….just wrong size. ... show more

I ordered a size 7 in these, and they sent me a 40. A size 7 should be a 37 or a narrow 38. My feet are an 8, and they're way too big for me. A 40 probably fits a size 9 foot. Christmas is in 2 days, and these are way too big to give my daughter. I'm very disappointed. They should have this size thing figured out. This star rating is for the company. Terrible! The shoe itself is great! They can’t get the size right after 3 tries! Totally ridiculous that you can’t send the right size that was ordered after 3 orders.

My fiancé ordered these for me for Mother’s Day in the oiled tobacco brown. I had been wanting that style for a while now. We were disappointed to get them in today and they are not the oiled version but the regular tobacco. Otherwise, Birkenstocks are good shoes and super comfy.
