These sandals are so comfortable. The wide toe box and built in metatarsal support makes them suitable for people with Morton’s neuroma. They didn’t feel comfortable at first in the heel and the sides, and it took about a month for them to break in and form to my natural foot shape. They are so worth it now after the break in period. I did use “bio oil” on my feet to help with the break in.

These truly are my favorite shoes. My daughter and I both wear these shoes almost daily. They are extremely comfortable. They fit well to size and they are made of a great quality. Very comfortable after wearing and allowing your foot to break it in. Took away a star bc initially they are stiff and uncomfortable and cause blisters- after pushing through the pain for about 2 weeks, they safe now the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn . They have held up for about a year now and still have a lot of life left- I live in the north so I don’t wear sandals as often, but I do wear them around the non carpeted areas in the house in the spring and winter as well so overall they are holding up well compared to the cost. I would buy another pair after these ones end their life , but I’m nervous about the first few weeks again 🤣

I ordered a pair of these sandals in size 42 (I usually wear about 9.5/10 in US mens size) and they feel perfect. It is a little tricky trying to find out which size is right for you, I would suggest going to the Birkenstock website and looking at their official size chart if you're having questions. If you do some research, you can be sure that you're getting a size that will fit you correctly. As far as the sandal, I am very impressed with it. It has taken a few wears to really break them in, and the first few times they rubbed the arches of my feet in ways I wasn't used to, causing some discomfort. After a few wears to break them in, I have no more discomfort and these shoes are very comfortable. I feel like these shoes offer me more support and ergonomics than a pair of Nike running shoes. They take a bit of getting used to, but once they are broken in they are great! The build quality is also fantastic and I am sure they will last for years. (What else would you expect from a shoe made in Germany though? They are famous for their craftsmanship). In conclusion, I have no issue recommending this sandal. They are well made, comfortable, and stylish.

I’ve wanted a pair of arizonas for so long, but just couldn’t justify the price. I’m normally someone who is willing to spend full retail price on a good pair of hiking boots before I would ever drop that kind of money on a pair of sandals, even if they were Birkenstocks. This past week I finally caved, and I wish I had gotten a pair sooner! Everyone is right when they say they feel uncomfortable at first. The first two days, they were stiff and not very conforming to my feet despite the molded contoured footbed. Even though lots of reviews say it’s worth the breaking in phase, I did end up internally panicking a little thinking “I just threw over $100 out the window because they’re stiff and not even comfy!”. Today was my third day wearing them consistently, and boy does it make a difference! There’s less rubbing, slightly more flexibility and I can tell they’re finally conforming to my feet. Past summers I’ve always worn sandals by brands that copy Birkenstocks style, and they were great, except they’d fall apart by the second summer wearing them. Happy to finally have my first pair of real birks!
