I knew from the product description that the main cushion folds in half for shipping, so already I figured this would be the easiest couch to bring up two flights of narrow stairs on my own. I assumed it would be so and it turned out I could make life even easier for me if I unscrew the hinge from one side. I don't imagine many other couches, let alone convertible sleeper sofas, could be taken that much apart. I'm very happy with how it fits in my space. I recently moved into a somewhat small apartment, but a couch of this size is all I need. I can even put down one of the arms to enter into recliner mode for myself (note, I am only 5'7") without moving it out of its small space. If I want to lay it down flat I have the space to pull it out and do so, so I wouldn't ever feel bad about having an overnight guest use this if that situation ever comes up. The comfort of the back cushion is definitely lacking though. I though it would be a little more structurally sound with the back brace, but it just rests upon it. Once I get some throw pillows to add onto this I think it will be much more comfortable.

Good for small space. But not something you can sit on comfortably for hours. This fit our budget well for our temporary needs and gets the job done. Looks decent and doubles up as a single person bed if you have a guest. You definitely need cushions with this one.

Really surprised at the quality, look and functionality received for the money. It is a little hard to sleep on, fine for sitting. However I assume that, as it is with all new furniture, it will soften up overtime. I like that its sprung, so the seating construction is bouncy and doesn't rely entirely on stuffing that would wear out quickly. They don't tell you some very useful info- the couch actually folds in half when shipped, it is fitted with door- like hinges, that are kept in place from moving by the middle support leg and back bar once assembled. This makes it easy to disassemble, put away, store, or move with. Speaking of the back bar, you really don't feel it through the back pillows as I expected to, so thats great! Also, when shipped the seat is not only folded in half, they also store the back pillows inside two large storage spaces under the seats, which can be zipped closed with fabric like large pockets later. This makes for AWESOME blanket storage once the couch is assembled! I stuffed like, 3 throw blankets in them and a guest pillow, its seriously great! I do wish they had more colors, some light tones, light grays or blues as it brightens a space, but maybe they will come up with some later :)

I really like the design concept of this futon. It's incredibly easy to assemble and rather comfortable to sit in. Easy to work with when changing its function. I bought it in the green and really like the color. However, I'm pretty disappointed with what I got. The cushions for the backrest are very misshapen. They do not have the same nice, clean angles as is shown in the seller photo. They come packaged in a convenient pocket hidden underneath the seat so I'm not sure why I couldn't get it in better shape. Also, the material lining the area underneath the retracting arms is the same black, cheap material used to line the bottom of the seat, instead of the green linen, as is shown in the seller photo. It's very disappointing. I thought I was getting a clever, economical modern mid-century design for a futon, but what I got looks much cheaper. A bit deceptive. I won't bother to return it, it's just too much work but can't stress how disappointing it is. I would suggest a convo with the seller before purchasing if this might be an issue for you too.
