This is a nice dog, and it's large, and my dog's fits in it Comfortably. It works out great if you're Going Out of town for a day or 2 or a day trip or spending the night somewhere but I wouldn't use it as an everyday kennel because it is fabric. Especially if you have a larger dog they will tear right through this. But for something short term it works great and definitely helped me out. Recommend. ... show more

See EDIT/ADDITION below. I really like this kennel. I am not using it for a dog, but for my cat. I am using it as an enclosed small catio for my cat on our deck. It is much better than the one I had earlier because this one is a lot larger and has two zip opening areas One zipper is on the mesh end of a narrow side. The other zipper is on the top of the enclosure. The entire top is made of mesh and that enables the cat to see up in the trees also. The one thing I wish were different is that one of the four side walls is solid fabric, not mesh. That means that my cat can see out of three sides, but not all the way around. I would’ve preferred it be mesh on all four sides. The handles are great on this, and it enables me to carry the enclosure in and out and around the deck quite easily. I like the pockets on the side, especially the one that is enclosed with the flap. I keep the ground stakes in that one. I have not yet quite figured out how to use these stakes . I wish that there had been a flyer inside the bag that explained how to best utilize the stakes. The other elasticized pocket is a deal for a bottle of water that I use to refill his water bowl. There was a good written, and illustrated description of how to fold up the kennel for storage or transport. I am keeping it in the large foldover pocket so that it is readily available when I need it. I checked all of the seams and the zippers, and they seemed secure. my kitty has pretty sharp claws, he tested the mesh and it has withstood attacks so far! I’m very happy with this and I know my cat loves having additional room. There’s plenty of room to put a bed inside there and to put water and food if desired. He can scoot around inside to check out birds and squirrels. He didn’t have this much room before. EDITED: Day after this review was written: My cat opened the side zipper and crawled out! Fortunately I was sitting on the deck and saw how he did it. First, the double zippers were zipped all the way to the top of one side. He put his claws in the mesh and pulled that side until the zippers parted and he stuck his head through ... from there he pushed his body through the opening. IF the double zipper had some kind of lock to hold the zip tabs together this wouldn't have happened. So I got paperclips and secured the double zips at the bottom of the opening (see pic). I will replace the paperclips with something more substantial, but for now this opening will remain closed and we'll use the top opening to put him in and take him out. As a failsafe, we'll also secure this top zipper in a similar way. To put this in perspective: I don't think a dog would do this, dunno. However the cats claws (little sharp daggers) could pull on the mesh pretty easily. If you use this enclosure for a cat, be sure to consider how you will secure the zippers. ... show more

    • Use Sparingly
It's just way too expensive for how flimsy it is. By flimsy I don't mean sturdiness which I didn't have a problem with but rather how it fell apart. The fabric was all tearing away from the zipper so there were giant holes forming and couldn't secure the pet anymore. This is a $30 item at best.

    • Dimensions are incorrect and way too small
This collapsible dog crate is a great idea, but the dimensions are wrong and it is way too small. It is only about 18 inches tall, so way too small for a large dog, I Nevermind an extra large dog as it indicates in the description. My yellow lab is about 70 pounds and there was no way he was getting in that! the length is not bad, but it is only about 18 inches tall, and the door is even less than that. I didn't expect it to be super roomy or anything, but it would have been nice to contain him at my office if people were uncomfortable with dogs for a short time. Given that he can't even get through the door, that's not happening. That said, initial impressions are that the construction is sturdy, the flexible wires are thick but malleable. It does take a little practice to twist it just right to fold it up the way it comes. I do wish that it came with a carrying bag instead of just the stretchy cord to go around it. The fabric is very thick. I did not test it to see if it is in fact waterproof, but it is a nice thick fabric and was actually better quality than I expected in that regard. If you have a dog that weighs around 30 pounds or so, this would be perfect for you I think. Even better for a smaller dog. ... show more

This carrier fit perfect in the back of my suv and has 2 openings , big enough for my 50lbs doodles and was easy to clean after my anxious doodle .
