i usually buy similar at Lowes, but they have coils and it is hard for 1 person to get them lined up so the stake will pound down. i did not need a lot of this and was drawn to the fact it has a gate built onto it. that is a big plus. i am using this to keep a 100lb lab and a 30 lb mutt out of our car port. had problems with oppossum babies coming in thru the back gate to get onto the property. i dont want the dogs shredding our car port trying to get to them. so far so good. but, if your large dog is not trained to not jump on fence this may not be your answer. the stakes are long, but i would not trust it to a determined dog.

It goes together very easy, the only thing I had to do is extra support rods mid way tied with zip ties. The rods that come with the kit don't drive very far in the ground. I am using as a compost structure, not a dog fence.

I love these. Easy to set up. A gate that you can position wherever you want. Keeps the rascally rabbits off my tulip shoots. Worth the money a definite buy again if necessary.

Buyer beware. There are plenty of other options in this price range. We bought two sets and the first started rusting before the rest could get delivered after one brief rain storm. Seller will not work with you on the return and it’s bulky and difficult to return. Amazon told me that the seller was easy to work with and now I’m stuck fighting with them to get these picked up or get a refund. Not worth the headache.
