Part of the Real Flame® VividFlame Grand Series, the extra-large electric firebox mimics the look of a real, flickering fire, but does not require a chimney or vents and conveniently plugs into a standard outlet. This free-standing, oversized indoor fireplace has a mantel with a real wood finish and features six flame colors, five flame brightness levels, adjustable thermostat, timer function and automatic safety shut-off. The electric fireplace insert provides supplemental heat for rooms up to 1,000 sq ft or the heater can be turned off so you can enjoy the comforting ambiance of a glowing fireplace year-round. The feel and atmosphere of the room is completely changed by this addition. It's big and it's made of solid wood. It arrived in 3 boxes which were well packed. The instructions were easy to follow and assembly took two of us not quite 2.5 hours, including unpacking. The flames are gorgeous, and you can choose from 7 color settings. It heats the room in no time. The only thing missing is the crackling of the wood as it burns. So we use our white noise machine on the "campfire" setting. I really like this. It very well made. Heavy. Solid wood. Heats my living room nicely. Magnificent! Get it. Make take some skill assembling. A few pieces of wood will require some sanding because of the paint causing fitment issues. We did recieve with a few wood pieces damaged. This fireplace has upgraded my living room instantly. This front room is now my favorite room in my house. It instantly added the coziness factor. The fireplace was easy to put together in about an hour. I love the option to have heat or not. The remote is convenient. The wood showed up damaged but the company immediately responded to my email and mailed out replacement parts for the damaged pieces. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. Worth every nickle!!!!!! When the package arrived I peeked in to look at the wood what a beautiful color. Was so excited to put it together it took me a few hours of easy assembling and a bit of wine😯 it's extremely solid wood and fits in my home as if it were built to be in the space. The heater which has a thermostat makes no noise and has a wonderful strong fan. I painted my wall blue and was delighted to find a blue flame selection that matched. So many different color flame choices and also brightness and dimming of the logs and small light above the logs. The light reflects off the floor and ceiling with a warm flicker. I 100% love this fireplace. I love, love the large size of it. I searched everywhere and all I could find was so small they looked like a child's toy for a playhouse. It is ridiculous that it's so hard to find one that's big enough to be considered a fireplace for your home. I can't say enough good things about this one. The wood frame and mantel are beautiful, and I love the color of it. The flames can be used with or without the heat and the colors are gorgeous. The heat puts out and warms our large room nicely. I’m sooo glad I went through with purchasing this fireplace. It wasn’t possible to add a real wood burning fireplace to my new home so I opted for an electric one. I was a bit concerned that it would look cheap or the quality would be chintzybut the quality has exceeded my expectations. It’s was heavy and solid and came in three boxes but I somehow managed to put it together all on my own. I had a base built for it to elevate it and give it an even more majestic centerpiece focus for my dining room and honestly It’s all I could dream of. The flames aren’t the most hyper realistic flames but I certainly didn’t have the 6k to spend on the fancy options for just the fireplace insert that are out there. The heat output is honestly nothing to write home about, but if you have it on for long enough it slightly warms the room a bit. There is no real sound that comes from just the fire itself which is a bit of a disappointment but over all I think it looks amazing and adds such an elegant and stately look to my farmhouse cottage home. I definitely recommend if you are looking for a centerpiece for your home that is somewhat affordable and looks good. ... show more

Very nice product! Fireplace is well made, very solid, can be a little tricky during assembly but managed to get it together. We did receive ours damaged. A crack in the front of the top board of the fireplace. Called customer service and they were OUTSTANDING! I told them it had a crack and they shipped a replacement top which I received a few days later. I wish all companies would have this kind of customer service but just doesn’t happen. Thanks again to this company, would recommend and would order again if I’m in the market for another one. ... show more
