    • Very Nice Fireplace - Some Assembly
The product came in three separate boxes. Two containing pieces for the entertainment center assembly, and one with the firebox unit. I found the product was very carefully wrapped in foam and other protective material, and it was free of damage upon inspection of the parts. Assembly was admittedly time consuming, taking a little over three hours to assemble with hand tools. The firebox itself is an attractive one, with beautiful glowing embers and a flame effect. It even has an ember effect which creates a slow brightening and dimming effect like a real fire. When you shut it off, it slowly dies out like a real fire over ten seconds or so, which is a nice effect. I can't say much about the heater portion of the unit as I have no plan to use it. It comes with a handy remote - just make sure you realize if you shut it off manually or unplug it the remote won't turn it back on; the remote only turns it back on if the remote had turned it off in the first place. Weird quirk but minor. My only real issue besides time of assembly was that the glass is clear - the picture gave me the impression it may have been tinted glass which it was not. To resolve this, I taped off the three doors on the back side, and sprayed with a can of frost glass effect you can buy at your local Home Depot for a few bucks. Also please be careful, the depth of the unit for media is not very deep - you may need to cut out parts of the back panel to make room for your deeper electronics. All in all though, this unit is beautiful and worth the trouble and expense - it looks phenomenal in our living room and our initial impression of the product is that it's a very nice piece of furniture! ... show more

    • Expensive but pretty nice
First off if you are looking for real wood, this is not what you want. That said I'm glad I got the Dark Walnut and not the Express the finish is really nice. The packing/shipping is A+++ with each piece being wrapped in a cloth-like material and then bubble wrap to prevent any scratching. The fit is a little lacking, some pieces don't fit 100% flush and you end up with some gaps but only in places, you don't notice. Also because it's not real wood the bolt fittings pull out very easily so I had to some glue/epoxy to make sure they stayed in. The overall look though is pretty nice I'm happy with that although for the price I wish it was a nicer wood material and some of the pieces fit better together. It is very heavy once together so I recommend putting some furniture sliders underneath it. ... show more

    • Great ELECTRIC fireplace entertainment center. If i could go back.. I would buy it again and again.
The whole entertainment center looks great and very well put together. I couldn't be happier, with the exception of the windows. they are nice but it seems to make it tacky or just takes away form the whole center. I ordered decorative frosted window tint and installed that. Makes it look amazing. Here are a few points you should def read. The item comes in three boxes so don't freak out when it says 1 of 3 and 2 of 3 but then you get a fireplace insert with box 1 of 2. And you wonder where the 2 missing boxes are. The item is very well packed. almost every item is also wrapped in bubble wrap. From reading the reviews and taking measurements i knew it was going to be smaller than what the pictures appear to make it. It is an electric fireplace so make sure NOT to buy the gel canisters it likes to sell with (Others also bought these items). It takes about an 1-2 to put together. I recommend a power drill for over 48 screws needing some love. The doors took a little longer as I had to untighten them a few times to ensure they opened and closed without rubbing. ... show more

I received my TV stand on Wednesday. I tried to put it together on Sunday morning . after I was done to assembly them I plug the fireplace it shoot my house light off. I removed it from my bedroom to downstairs it trip the braker again. and also the hight is on 31 when check it myself.

This is a beautiful item I love the style and the color there is only one thing that I was not to happy with us to low I set my TV on top and my tv is to low so I had to put my tv in the wall I had no choice.

I love the idea that I can change the look with window film. I can change it for each season, or just to match the room in different shades and hues. The fireplace is smaller than expected. Service is excellent. I had it plugged into a power strip-it may be why the flame would not adjust. I called the 1-800 number and received a return label. I am awaiting a new firebox, which I may not have needed, after reading the customer service email. He re-iterated the instruction to plug it directly into the wall-not a power strip. ... show more

We bought this for our apartment because it does not have a fireplace. We also needed a television stand as we just sold our house and moved into an apartment. It looks great put together and the wood seems solid. The only thing is that the back was not completely aligned to slide the back in together. My husband put part of it together and I helped at the end. It took him about 3.5 hours to put it together. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish television stand. ... show more
