I really love this entertainment center a lot. The quality is above par, professionally constructed with a nice finish. The packaging was incredible, every item arrived in a well-protected box, I usually don't see products packaged so well. Before I decided to piece the cabinet together I had all the glass professionally tinted (blacked-out) since I wanted a very clean and finished look and I just didn’t want to see any items stored within the unit once it was finally assembled. Since the windows were totally blacked out I purchased a small inexpensive and indiscrete IR receiver that is mounted outside the cabinet to control the remote control to my large screen TV (BAFX IR). It works very well without any issues at all. The actual assembly took a little time since I put the unit together by myself (3+ Hours). The directions were easy to follow as well. One bit of advice, make sure you have the right size Phillips head screwdriver with a good grip because the screws, especially on the back panel totaled 24 count and it can be challenging by the time you get to the end assembly. I would also suggest separating out all the hardware at the beginning and identifying each with the letter assigned to them in the directions, makes the assembly a lot easier as your going along. If your also assembling on a hardwood floor, padding is essential to keep the finish of the cabinet safe from scratches and ergonomically comfortable if your 60-years old like I am! One slight negative observation I have is centered on the shelving panels that go inside the cabinets, which were not exactly wide enough to make a tight fit, and easily collapsed down if touched the wrong way. I addressed this by applying black adhesive Velcro (the soft female side) to the edges of the shelves, which did the trick and which were not noticeable once the panels were installed. The firebox is easily installed as well, requiring only 4 screws! I’m very impressed with the look of the faux fireplace with its realistic flame and lighting, ease of use and the variety of settings to control the look and feel of the unit. The heating element works like a charm and is a great addition as well. So there you have it in a nutshell. I would recommend this entertainment unit if your in the market for a small-sized cabinet to accentuate your home. One final note of advice, this cabinet can be deceiving when your looking at the photos online so be sure you have the appropriate setting due to the actual size of the unit.

This purchase I am extremely pleased with. Unlike other reviews we ordered the electric version (the more expensive of the two) and indeed received the version we ordered. It came a day earlier then the delivery window estimate even began, and we also were contacted from the supplier before we even got the shipment. It came in three boxes which were not too heavy and padded well, also the boxes inside were also foam padded and double boxed, in some cases it was boxes inside of boxes inside of boxes. This is a large undertaking, totally doable solo, but make sure you have time in case you run into issues. It is made of mostly solid like wood, this is not typical assembly cheap furniture this has an actual wood surface and not entirely veneer. The surface is also easy to polish with Liquid Gold which makes it looks stunning. The only few things we had that were negative were missing parts (only one), assembly time, and the amount of precision required. If you are building this on padded carpet or an uneven surface use a level, if any of the parts are screwed into place not level, or even off by a slight 1 mm, it almost ensures you will have trouble assembling this. It goes together well but everything has to be very precise for everything to fit correctly. Once assembled its hard like a rock, or an oak desk it is quite sturdy. We were only missing one part, ironically we only got 3 3-in-1 bolts, despite the manual stressing their importance and how to properly anchor them into the wood without overturning them. Being it was the only hiccup really i think someone just misread and counted 3 instead of the 4 required to assemble this. We put this together late, and the manufacturer's customer service closes at 4PM central, luckily Ace Hardware had the missing bolt and was close. Once assembled this is a very nice piece of furniture and the price does speak towards the quality, if you want better quality than this then you would have to pay a great deal more this is quite acceptable as a price/quality ratio.

Assembly was real easy and instructions were plenty clear. Fit and finish on all the parts was excellent and packed very well to prevent damage. No issues at all with quality of the product. Stand is smaller than I expected even though I knew going in after making measurements. Pictures online make it look so much larger. If you put a tv larger than 50” on it looks kinda odd so would recommend wall mounting it. Would have been nice to have wider side shelves to hold standard size electronics. My DVR fit fine above the fireplace but had to buy a smaller Blu-ray player to fit in the side shelf. Fireplace works great and creates a nice relaxing atmosphere. Anybody that sees it likes the appearance of the fire. Looks pretty real and not fake like so many others. Overall I’m very happy with everything except the price. I think $650-$700 would be a much more reasonable price for this.

The product came in three separate boxes. Two containing pieces for the entertainment center assembly, and one with the firebox unit. I found the product was very carefully wrapped in foam and other protective material, and it was free of damage upon inspection of the parts. Assembly was admittedly time consuming, taking a little over three hours to assemble with hand tools. The firebox itself is an attractive one, with beautiful glowing embers and a flame effect. It even has an ember effect which creates a slow brightening and dimming effect like a real fire. When you shut it off, it slowly dies out like a real fire over ten seconds or so, which is a nice effect. I can't say much about the heater portion of the unit as I have no plan to use it. It comes with a handy remote - just make sure you realize if you shut it off manually or unplug it the remote won't turn it back on; the remote only turns it back on if the remote had turned it off in the first place. Weird quirk but minor. My only real issue besides time of assembly was that the glass is clear - the picture gave me the impression it may have been tinted glass which it was not. To resolve this, I taped off the three doors on the back side, and sprayed with a can of frost glass effect you can buy at your local Home Depot for a few bucks. Also please be careful, the depth of the unit for media is not very deep - you may need to cut out parts of the back panel to make room for your deeper electronics. All in all though, this unit is beautiful and worth the trouble and expense - it looks phenomenal in our living room and our initial impression of the product is that it's a very nice piece of furniture!

I received this order in three boxes and the packaging was excellent. I have been in the shipping business for over 34 years and was very impressed with the way they arrived intact and undamaged. Everything is high quality and it looks great. The veneered wood is certainly a lot lighter than the pressed boards of other furniture kit manufacturers. The pieces all fit together nicely except for one corner but that was on the backside. I would note that the middle shelf above the "flame" has a narrow opening so only something small can fit through. There is ample space on this shelf, but place any electronic equipment in there before you lower the top mantle down and tighten the screws. My only criticism is that the stickers glued on each part for identification are very hard to get off. I had to spend a lot of time to scrape the sticker off and then use "GooGone" to remove the glue. This can easily be corrected with different stickers. The color of the wood is much darker that expected after viewing the picture. I would say it is closer to looking like cherry wood than anything else.

The whole entertainment center looks great and very well put together. I couldn't be happier, with the exception of the windows. they are nice but it seems to make it tacky or just takes away form the whole center. I ordered decorative frosted window tint and installed that. Makes it look amazing. Here are a few points you should def read. The item comes in three boxes so don't freak out when it says 1 of 3 and 2 of 3 but then you get a fireplace insert with box 1 of 2. And you wonder where the 2 missing boxes are. The item is very well packed. almost every item is also wrapped in bubble wrap. From reading the reviews and taking measurements i knew it was going to be smaller than what the pictures appear to make it. It is an electric fireplace so make sure NOT to buy the gel canisters it likes to sell with (Others also bought these items). It takes about an 1-2 to put together. I recommend a power drill for over 48 screws needing some love. The doors took a little longer as I had to untighten them a few times to ensure they opened and closed without rubbing.

I can't stress this enough, view all the instructions first. There are no written instructions just pictures. It took me one hour and forty minutes to put the item together, by myself. You do not need another person as long as you go slow, look at pictures (several times) and take your time. The fireplace insert is heavy, folks might need help with that piece. There was a bad chemical smell once you open the boxes that lingers around. Pull all the pieces out and move the boxes and packaging material to the outside. I gave this item 4 stars because one piece came with a nick in it, some flat white paint will tackle that and several of the pieces look like they only received 1 coat of paint again paint will fix that. But I shouldn't have to repaint or repair the item. The flame is artificial but adds a very nice touch. The heater, wow that thing cranks out the heat and it was on the lowest setting. There is no noticeable noise from the heater. Over all I'm very satisfied with the item.
