Initial impression is that the unit is very nice! Took about an hour to assemble and is not too bad if you have put other furniture with the stud and quarter turn keepers together. The most difficult thing about assembly was removing the part number stickers from the wood. The part numbers helped greatly with assembly and the instructions were very clear. As far as functionality goes, this puts out quite a bit of heat. We are using it to heat an uninsulated sunroom and it warmed it up nicely and fairly quickly as well. Time will tell, but so far, I am happy....but most importantly, my wife is happy too! ... show more

I was Leary of buying such a large item online since if it was not what I expected a return would be painful and as I found out to disassemble and repack would have been impossible. That being said, this fireplace turned out to be even nicer than pictured. The size was perfect for our room and the quality and appearance is excellent. I was worried about buying this product. But I can say I'm very impressed. The material was as explained, not that really cheap stuff that brake as soon as you open it. Was easy to put together. We keep our house at 69 degrees in winter but the lowest heat setting is 71. So we have to turn it on and off often. Looks great and love the side storage and flame options. Wish the finish was coated though because any thing scratching or spilled on it (wax from candle) isn’t easy to clean off without taking the paint off! ... show more

I positively love this fireplace took me about 2 hrs to put together but if I can do it anyone can came. package very well came in three large boxes. The flame looks real and throws great heat, has a blower but very quit. I have it in a large room during cold days after 2 hrs I have to turn it on low. I have contacted the seller, so I will edit this review after I’m contacted. I was so excited to have my husband put this together tonight, then disappointed in the defects of the product. Hoping seller will fix this with either replacement parts or compensation since this unit was $700+
