My expectations were low when I ordered this slurry blaster but I figured I was only gambling 30 bucks so I couldn't lose much, but when I put it together and used it I was pleasantly surprised. This thing works great, does exactly what I was hoping for and was cheap to boot, 2 bags of sand cost more than the unit its' self. I used it in this case to remove some pretty thick corrosion on an axle housing and it knocked the job out without a problem.     • Absolutely Amazing
I bought this to strip 60 years of paint and rust off of a set of seat frames for my project car, I figured if it didn’t work at least it was cheap. I was blown away at how easily it stripped away the grime paint and rust. It does make a huge mess but it definitely does the job.

So I’ve tried different type of pressure washers. Electric 1800psi, 2600 psi gas 3100 psi gas and 4200 psi gas … it’s more of a pain to use than expected, media tube fills with water , and suction isn’t powerful enough to siphon it ..using the finest dry sand and not working..what to do next ?

Well i hooked it up to my 5000 pressure washer and brought a 100 lb of quick creat fine and very dry material and the performance of the unit was very hit and miss when the media would come out or not I checked the suction on the supply hose and it had pull, my answer to fix this problem is to make a air tank and put the media in it with the supply line on the bottom with a ball valve and a input air regulator for the tank to know the media will flowing when needed ... show more

Product works as long as you use the right media. Sand and walnut shells clog every minute or two. Use glass beads or crushed glass they work well. Aluminum oxide would probably work too. Over all not a bad product at all

    • Read these tips for success!
It'll work great if you follow these tips . First put the suction tube in empty bucket then pour your sand in. Secondly position the bucket so it's touching the pressure washer. The vibration from the pressure washer will agitate the sand so it's always moving around the suction tube. Third I found that a shorter hose from suction tube to wand works better. Fourth if your using a coarser sand like pool filter sand or bigger abrasive then play sand you'll want to have a gravity fed system and you'll want to use a 3/4 in hose. I used a 2300psi 2.4 gpm washer and it will use the sand up quick but you'll get that sand blast look. ... show more

I was surprised how heavy and thick the brass is very good quality only problem I had with it is, it go's through a ton of sand quickly so buy a few more bags of play sand than you think you need just find a way to dry the play sand it comes wet i put the sand on a cooking sheet and put in my grill at 400 plus degrees for well over an hour this is awesome there is no dust also my harley frame i blasted flash rusted very quickly so after it dryed i used my disk grinder with a wire wheel and went quickly over it to finish it Also my pressure washer would not hook to this without this adapter i just happened to have and yes the suction hose did clog a few times sand needs to be very dry cover the sand with somthing ... show more
