  • Made well enough for the price
Color: Silver
++Update++ Faucet working just fine 5 months after install. No problems, no leaks or weaknesses in function due to quality. Spray hose retracts the same, no worse, maybe better because I've simply gotten used to it being a tad finicky. Still wish the spray function was aerated - a number of surprise splashes because I forget it's on, so I use it much more sparingly/carefully than with my old faucet. If you can adjust your water flow to the faucet it helps, but you can only go so far without reducing the regular water stream too much. I have the on/off handle on the right side with hot water at the front. There's no industry standard for whether hot or cold goes front or back for a handle on the side, so set it up however you wish. I use hot water much more than cold, so turning it on by swiveling the handle to the front is my preference and much more convenient. I have wanted to try this tall style of faucet, and this price was right for the experiment. I have never removed nor installed a faucet, nor any other plumbing tasks, but I know how to Google. Another reason to try this one - if I messed up installing it, I wasn't out a lot of money. The longest task was removing the old faucet - it had an immovable faucet "nut" (brass ring). Sprayed it with WD40 and let it sit overnight, and it came right off with a little nudge. (It was installed some 25 years ago.) On to the install. The hot and cold hoses are color labeled, obvious, but which hole in the bottom of the faucet does each go into? They were not preinstalled, and no instructions. (Plumbers/handymen, stop rolling your eyes.) So a lifetime of using faucets was my tutor: Left is hot, right is cold - I put the faucet handle facing me and saw the hose holes lined up left and right, soooo yep, red/hot hose went into the left hole, blue/cold hose into the right, after applying a couple turns of plumbers tape to the threads. Everything else was installed in reverse order of the removal. Tricky part, other than multiple trips sliding upside down and backwards in and out of a 24" cabinet and working in a 3" space behind the sink, and also realizing you forgot to put on the gasket ring *before* attaching the hoses to water pipes, is getting that sprayer to retract back up into the faucet completely. I found the best spot for the weight (contrary to pictures in the instructions) is as high as you can go on the section of hose that moves up into the faucet when you pull the sprayer. How high depends on how far out you want to pull out the sprayer. It still needs a bit of a nudge sometimes to retract fully. My old faucet had a plastic tube inside the threaded pipe separating the sprayer hose from the other hoses, this one doesn't. So I'm guessing there's too much friction from the other hoses for the weight to do all the work. As for quality - it looks very nice. As nice as more expensive faucets. It is easy enough to turn water on/off and from hot to cold, etc. The larger black button toggles from normal water stream to a strong (not aerated) spray - it splashes a lot if not careful. I actually turned down the water flow under the sink to lessen the splash. The faucet head tilts slightly forward, so it will spray toward the front of the sink when you turn it on, not straight down - you might get a surprise splash when you turn it on if there's something sitting in the front of the sink, and especially if the spray button is on. Overall, the faucet lacks the feel of sturdiness and heft that my previous and much pricier faucet had. The faucet section moves from side to side almost too easily, and there's the faintest gap where it swivels with what appears to be plastic behind that gap. I assume that gap is water tight, will learn if not. I do wonder how long it will hold up, but if I can get some years out of it, at $30 it was worth trying. I'm happy enough with the purchase. ... show more

  • Great wallet-friendly faucet
Color: Silver
We had a pretty old faucet that, coupled with our shallow sink, made washing dishes, filling up a pot, or watering plants a pain. While we wanted an upgrade, we didn't want to spend a lot of money. This one did the trick. It's now a lot easier to use our sink. The mechanism to pull the sprayer back is a weight, not a magnet, so it's not necessarily as high-quality as other more expensive models, but hey, this one delivers great bang for your buck. ... show more

  • Not the best quality
Color: Silver
This faucet is not the best quality but you can't beat the price. Cost me more to have it installed but we are still using it and it works.

  • Bought this for my RV
Color: Silver
First, the style is ideal. My RV has a small double bowled stainless sink, so the traditional faucet style made rinsing anything larger than a salad plate difficult. This is a dramatic improvement in functionality, but the quality, in terms of durability, it is not. It was easy enough to install. It uses 3/8" fittings and my RV is plumed with the standard 1/2", so I had to purchase two 1/2 to 3/8 reducers. Also, getting the brass nut tight to secure the position of the faucet is odd. You can't use a wrench, or any tool really, to give it that last little twist. And the tiny screws provided to secure the nut were impossible to install. Who can get at that angle and make that reach in inadequate lighting while compressed under a sink? The designer can't possibly have ever replaced an existing faucet. Further, it doesn't have the added bolts and nuts for the hot and cold holes in the countertop. The center nut is the only thing holding the faucet in place. I had to skip those screws for the brass nut, lol. I am not sure they would provide any more support to the faucet anyway. It is a ridiculous design flaw. If I were to do this again, I would also buy a standard plastic nut but it doesn't solve the problem of having no way to anchor it through the hot and cold holes. I am not expecting it to last a decade, but at this price, I come out ahead even if I have to replace it every three years (as long as I install it myself). I like this faucet, but think it is important for people to be aware you aren't getting copper tubing or high end components. I don't think it would hold up very long if used in a typical family home. But, for my situation, for light use, it is just right. ... show more

  • You Get What You Pay For
Color: Silver
I'm not upset with this faucet in the slightest. It's a cheaply made sprayer faucet... which I got even cheaper during a discount period. I think I paid, like, $30 and bought two... one for my kitchen sink, and one to put into a small teardrop camper [which I haven't installed yet]. So far, the one in my kitchen is doing great. It was just as easy to install as any other faucet I've installed. The instructions were simple enough to follow and correctly listed the tools I would need... all which were simple tools I already had. That being said... I do not expect this faucet to last forever. It is made from the cheapest materials I have ever seen... and I'll be surprised if it makes it a year. If you're looking for something inexpensive... something to put in a utility sink or something that will not be used often... it will probably work wonders. As for everyday use? We'll see how that turns out. Either way... I went in knowing it wouldn't be the best quality, so I can't hold it against the seller. Great value considering the price... and so far, functioning as advertised... and best of all... without any leaks. ... show more
