So my teenager decided he wanted to scoot around the backyard with his little sister and obviously everyone knows the razor scooter is the most popular, it's reasonably priced (we got the blue because it was the cheapest) and we could get it over night so he would have it by the time he got home from school. He was super excited to get it and had no issues unfolding it and getting it ready. They issues came when he used it, but I think it was more user error. He was having a great time until he tried a jump and missed and the scooter spun around and wacked him on the back of one shin and bounced off and hit the other and bounced off again and hit the previous shin again. Those things are sturdy and let me tell you, in a matter of seconds I could see the bruises turning purple on both shins. His bubble was burst and as we sat on the couch with ice on both of his shins I thought, I should have gotten shin guards. ... show more

When I lived in an apartment, there was never any parking near by and I'd have to park at the very least half a mile away. On the mornings I was in a rush this came in handy and saved me from being late. Just needed to zip down the side walk and cut a 15+ minute walk to about 10 minutes

These scooters are perfect for my 7 and 9 year old girls. We love that they fold up, which is great to transport them AND to store in a small space in our garage. Note that are kids are on the smaller side for their age. Larger/taller/big footed kids probably would find it too small.
