Bought this for my teenage son who's big into competitive FPS games, and wow, it was a total game-changer for him. The thing is ridiculously light (feels like nothing in your hand). He says the aim feels pinpoint accurate now, and with the long battery life he barely has to charge it during marathon sessions. He loves how smooth it glides across the pad. Seriously, his reaction when he first tried it was priceless—he went from "meh" to "this is insane" in like 10 minutes. The DeathAdder V4 Pro is one of the best gaming mice I've used, but there's a learning curve if you plan to use it for everyday tasks too. The 56g weight is shockingly light, almost too light at first, to the point where the cursor can feel a bit jumpy until you get used to it. For gaming though, that lightweight design is a real advantage once things are dialed in. The software is excellent, much better than some competitors, and you can fine-tune the sensitivity with enough precision to tame any jumpiness. Once your profiles are set up, it's a pleasure to use. My one ergonomic gripe is that the DPI/sensitivity toggle button is on the bottom of the mouse. For a mouse this capable, it would be far more useful somewhere on top where you can switch on the fly. If you're using it for both gaming and regular PC work, you'll find yourself needing to adjust sensitivity fairly often because of how light and responsive it is, so having that button buried underneath is a missed opportunity. Feels great for large hands. Palm grip is full and comfortable. Got a great matte texture and the movements are smooth and fluid. Very stylish in its white color and curves. The clicking sound is deeper than the v3 pro, it's not soft and someone sleeping in the same room will be annoyed, but it's not overly loud as long as no one's trying to sleep. They're scroll wheel is more tactical and substantial with every scroll "tick." It does feel more precise. Comparing to other mice like the naga, viper, orochi (current models as of 2026) the deathadder v4 has the best form for my large hands. If they ever made this model with the Naga hex or MMO attachment with the 12 side buttons, then I wouldn't need anything else. Connectivity is fine, no weird disconnect issues except for my first gaming session where I was trying to play with it at less than half battery out of the box. You may want to charge it to full first. I had some minor skipping a couple of times. Battery life seems fine. It's still at 100% since I charged it yesterday at 2000mhz polling rate. Easy to use, quick to set up, solid construction. Expensive, sure, but no other mouse feels this comfortable and I've tried other brands. ... show more

Undoubtedly, this mouse is the most exceptional mouse available on the market. While its price may be high, it is undoubtedly worth every penny. The buttons are exceptionally responsive, providing excellent feedback. The mouse exhibits zero latency and boasts the best response time among all available options. The battery life is remarkably long, although it may be reduced when operating at an 8k polling rate. If I were to rate this mouse a perfect 10 stars, I would do so without hesitation.
