  • Good for Small Hands
I'm a female gamer who tends to play high-reflex FPS and RPG/MMO. I was seeking a responsive, comfortable gaming mouse and tried Razer's Viper Mini, as well as Logitech G203 (wired only to avoid latency issues). Like Goldilocks and the 3 Bears, the Logitech felt too "fat" for my grip because the latter half of the mouse body is rounded. The Viper Mini was good, and has the "pinched waist" of this Deathadder Mini, which felt better in my hand. However, there's something about the way the mouse keys divot and let my fingers fall comfortably flat on this Deathadder that suits my hand slightly better than the Viper Mini (with the Viper, my fingers tend to need to do the claw grip, which can lead to cramps or soreness faster). The body is light, and while my index and middle finger are resting and ready for clicking, I find that my thumb easily reaches the 2 side buttons. The outer design of the Deathadder Mini coaxes my ring finger and pinkie to rest on the side, rather than drag on my mousepad, which seems to give my gameplay more nimbleness. With the added grip tape, this mouse feels solid in my hands. The mouse wheel is satisfyingly "solid" -- you don't need to work hard, but you definitely know when it's moved a notch. Which is super crucial for fine movements, quick selections between your weapons, etc. Overall, I'm excited to use this mouse daily! ... show more

  • Responsive, great for smaller hands, good portable mouse on the go
This is a relatively small mouse which makes it great for taking on the go or for people who have smaller hand sizes. My niece and nephew really love having this mouse when they play mind craft on their laptop. In terms of use, the mouse is nice that is relatively strong sensitivity, comfort, and feels awesome. It does take some getting used to if you are used to a bigger mouse. It is also fairly cheap in price for a razor brand mouse but their quality and performance is pretty good on this mouse. It is a comfortable mouse and the packaging on these is a lot better. At least the mouse is not coming all smooshed. With this mouse, a majority of the controls are directly on the mouse so you are able to change the sensitivity or PSI on it without needing to go through the software which is nice. The color on the other hand actually needs the the application in order to be changed. The mouse feels great and it is pretty form fitting to someone with smaller hands. For me, it is comfortable to use. The mouse glides pretty well across the mat that I have. I have tried it on other surfaces and other than glass it works pretty well on those surfaces as well. I would recommend getting a mouse pad for this mouse to make it smoother when you move across. There are a few programmable buttons and the RGB is illuminates the symbol. I usually just stick with green to be honest as it is the razor default color and works well with my keyboard. The RGB lights are not too bright where you would be blinded by your own mouse. It is a nice feature to change the color but I use the application to program the buttons more. The mouse material is pretty nice making it slip resistant. I would recommend if you are going to clean this mouse just use water/mild soap. If you use alcohol you may damage the material. The sensitivity can be adjusted by the center button or by the application. The application does not come with the device and you will need to download the driver for that on their website if you want to create you own settings. It is pretty simple application which is nice. There are also controls for you to scroll through websites, toggle back and forth, and again adjust the PSI. This device does make gaming a bit more fun with the extra buttons that literally at your finger tips. It makes my healing easier on world of warcraft and final fantasy XIV with my laptop I take on the go. It also works great for games like dota and heroes of the storm as well. It also makes my first person shooting easier to change weapons and punch my opponent if that is applicable. Overall I think this mouse is great with a cool looking design. It is easy to use and smooth movements. The only thing I will say is that it is smaller than your average razer mouse but it provides the same performance. ... show more

  • Compact Gaming Mouse That Gets the Job Done
Compact Gaming Mouse That Gets the Job Done The Razer DeathAdder V2 Mini hits a sweet spot for gamers who want a lightweight mouse without sacrificing too much performance. At just 62 grams, it feels very easy to maneuver, and the included grip tape really helps with control during longer gaming sessions. The 8,500 DPI sensor is more than enough for most casual and competitive gaming, and the six programmable buttons give enough flexibility to map out common actions. I also liked the Chroma RGB—it’s subtle but adds a nice touch of personalization. That said, this mouse is definitely designed with smaller hands in mind. If you have medium-to-large hands, you may find it a little cramped, especially for palm grip users. It’s also not quite as premium-feeling as some of Razer’s higher-end mice, and I noticed the clicks and scroll wheel feel a bit lighter than I usually prefer. Bottom line: A solid, lightweight gaming mouse that shines for smaller hands and anyone who prefers a compact form factor, though those with larger hands may want to size up. ... show more

  • Good mouse for good price
This is the first time I've bought a gaming mouse. previously I've used ones that came with my PC, or wireless logitech ones. My wireless ones finally started to fail in multiple ways, so I broke down and bought this one. I have small hands, so the spare mice I had available were severely uncomfortable to use for any longer than a few minutes. I bought this mouse a year ago, as a gift for my sister. So I used hers a bit to see how it felt, and it still looked pristine after a ywar of use, so I ordered and I love it. It's almost too small (my hand is 6" palm to middle fingertip), my pinkie kind of falls off the side, but it glides beautifully anyways and it's SO much more precise than anything I'd used before. Would definitely recommend for anyone with small hands! ... show more

  • v2 mini... Impressive for a $25 mouse!!
I realized it was a mini-mouse.. I figured I'd give it a try as my 49yo wrists are wrecked and I wanted light and decent. So far, it's everything and more than I expected from a $25 mouse! Accurate, light, nimble. No cons for it thus far (1 week ownership) I have medium-large length hands 8" long and they're 4" wide. Yes, the mouse is small but I play fingertip- having my wrist on the desk and use thumb and ring finger to move the mouse as well as wrist movements for left and right. Not a single cramp which I expected due to it being so small. Included grip tape makes it feel much better. Last mouse was a Steelseries 700 and weighed in at 136grams or 4.8 ounces. This v2 has a learning curve for me as I'm used to sliding a 'brick' (large and heavy mouse) across the mouse pad and it would not stop on a dime.. This little bugger stops when I do and weighs in at I believe 63grams. I purchased this hoping it would help my wrist out as well as help my accuracy as a bunch of us 'old' guys (I'm almost 50) have been playing multiplayer shooters for a while now and I sucked! *note.. I still suck but I suck less this week since a day after I've been using this mouse. Synapse... hmm.. well, it has to start and run otherwise the rgb breathes all colors and too brightly for my tastes. SO far, I haven't had any issues with the software. It's easy enough for me to use and it's not like it's taxing my 8c-16t machine running in the background but I can see where it would irk some who like to run only the necessary in the background. I like the little bugger. I'm going to try the viper mini which is supposed to be 2grams lighter (no difference to me) but even more accurate for my other computer then pick which I like the best for the main rig. Oh, if i 'palm' the mouse, it disappears.. literally! but it's comfy palming, fingertip and claw. *a friends 18yo bought the Logitech G yadda yadda expensive wireless etc and thought this was more comfortable and performed the same. ... show more

  • 5-Stars (FOR THIS SIZE-CLASS) - Kids Love It
Like a lot of folks, I have young kids (8 and 6) doing virtual classrooms right now. They did not use PC's a lot before COVID, and I wanted to give them the best possible experience to help keep them motivated. I'll say this right now - both kids loved it. They liked how easily it glides, the weight, the size and - of course - the fact that it can light up. They aren't competitive gamers so we're not using the included grip stickers. One interesting feature was that one kid likes to keep the logo one color and the other likes the colors to change - and with the Razer Synapse3 software, both can be accommodated. If you are working with kids you will want to change the DPI settings to just 1 or 2 settings though (from the default 5)... 6400-DPI and kids are not compatible. Versus the previous standard/basic optical mice, the difference was noticeable even for the kids. The mouse is lighter, glides more easily, and is more comfortable for their hands. Lighting and DPI changing capabilities are bonuses. From the perspective of the adult... I've used a full-size Razer DeathAdder on my desktop for a few years now, so I feel like I can give a pretty good comparison of the full-size versus the mini. In short, the mini really is just a smaller DeathAdder in terms of feel with just 2 changes. The first (and smallest) change is that the scroll-wheel trim does not light up like it does on the full size (the logo still glows though). The second change is the DPI-shifting button... singular. The full-size has two buttons - DPI-up and DPI-down; the mini has just one that scrolls up to max then restarts at the bottom. Having to scroll through the whole way would be detrimental in some fast-action gaming situations, but as people generally leave DPI static after starting a game it's probably minimal. Otherwise, the button feels a tad cheaper than the ones on the full-size, but I don't think it's functional... it's probably just a larger physical pad mounted on the same switches. Since the DPI-shifter is by far the least-used button, I think this is OK. TLDR; buy it for kids and gamers with small hands. ... show more

  • Great for gaming with smaller hands or if you just like a lightweight easier-to-lift mouse
Had to buy a second due to spilling bourbon on the first, excellent mouse, and its even cheaper now. Only gripe I'd have is the grip-tape starts to wear off and loose it's adhesion a little too soon. Easily solved with very careful and light application of super-glue before placing it on but it's fine enough even without the grip-tape, I just like having it on as it does add extra traction and for my hands (which hurt with early arthritis) it makes it easier to move and pick up. Solid quality, cheap price, exceptional for the price really. I'd say it's just like 1 grade below one of those fancy tournament mice like I used to use but honestly I prefer it more due to those tourny mice generally being big and heavy. ... show more
