It is not for "Correcting" Posture, so it is not worn all day. It helps to remind to adjust for slouching. I have upper back pain that translates into chest pain. If you are having chest pain but realize you can relieve it by straightening your posture. Then, this is for you. It works for me. I only wear it for 20 or so minutes a day and it helps to correct my posture and get rid of chest pain.

It is a bit tricky to put on the first few times — just a question of getting used to it. But it is a gem. The straps are easily adjustable in a variety of positions — you really get a real “personal” fit the way the straps are constructed and designed. I play piano — I am 80 years old — after sitting at the piano for 30 minutes —without the brace — my back is usually in pain and I have to rest for awhile before I go back and play again. Now I am up to 1 1/2 hours at a time. The support is excellent — no pain afterwards. It is hard to believe that the flexibility of placing the straps really customizes the support system the way you want it to… …it is worth every penny!!

I find the straps intended to assist in posture correction sit uncomfortably in my armpits... I'm not saying this won't work for someone whose primary goal is posture correction, but I find it uncomfortable myself... I had been using a back brace for a while before this that had helped eliminate most or all of my lower back issues already... But it was secondhand and almost worn out and I should have gotten one that was more focused on that... Or a different style maybe... The paper that comes with it showing how to put it on was correct, but because of poor color choices, it is hard to decipher details... My poor eyesight didn't help, but they should have considered that anyway... I wore it the first day all wrong... I may however go back to wearing it that way just to get those annoying straps out of my pits... If they were detachable I'd just remove them to be fair... They aren't... No complaints about product quality...

I really liked the way it felt when I put it on. It keeps my back straight and shoulders pulled back. It is comfortable but wearing it all day is a little hard. Made good. Worth the money.

So first off, I work two different high mobility jobs with a lot of lifting. After a few days my back, even with stretching is bad, with this product I get home and the pain and stiffness was greatly reduced. Con. After day 1 the support boning on the sides wore through on one side. Day two boning on both sides, around the love handles wore through. Day 2.5 the support boning in both these spots had fallen completely out.

This back brace is the best I've ever owned, in regards to comfort, support, and value. With that being said, it still has its issues. Every other back brace I've ever owned never stays in its intended position and rides up, without fail, at some point during use. This is no exception. Because of this, you would think that companies would manufacture them with comfortable straps that string between the legs or something just to help keep them in position like they do with the shoulder straps. In this day and age, it shouldn't be an upgrade, but standard, in my honest opinion. Next century, I guess. For best application, I have found that by putting on an undershirt, then the belt (initially just holding the brace, and my shirt, in position), laying down on a bed, sucking in my belly as much as possible, THEN closing the belt as tight as I can, standing up, THEN pulling the shoulder straps as tight as possible and securing them in place as low on the belt as possible, is the best way to put/keep this brace in the proper position. Again, it will need adjustment after movement, but they always do - especially without leg straps. I know I'm going to have issues later on with the material of the shoulder straps, too, as they are already showing signs of stretching after a few uses. I have knee and other straps with the same cheap, stretchy material. This can be fixed later on by sewing a nylon strap to them once they become useless, but that shouldn't be our job. The band around the waist and the supports up the back should all be fine throughout the life of the belt, from what I can tell anyway. Lastly, I'm 5'4" and 154 lbs and purchased a large because of reviewers complaining it's too short. This size fits me perfectly. All-in-all, I would recommend this belt, but only with these suggestions to be aware of.
