  • Worst quality laptop in 2025
CPU: AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 RAM Size: 32 Capacity: 1 TB SSD Style: RTX 5070 Ti
I hve owned razer and other products in the past and their product quality has gone down along with service. Bought a new Razer laptop 16 2025 and with 2 months of owning there are hardware issue. Instead of replacing they want me to mail it to run diagnosis and then try to repair. This is not the service I expected and the quality. Never buying razer product or will ever recommend it. Do not buy Razer laptop not worth the headache with support. I had bough mine directly from Razer. Wanted to share my finding so you can save your money for a better quality brand ... show more

  • Almost perfect
CPU: AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 RAM Size: 64 Capacity: 2TB + 2TB SSD Style: RTX 5090
the end says why i put 2 stars the laptop on its own is amazing. build quality is amazing. feels like an apple product if they made windows machines. perfect set of IO, you don’t need more than what they give you. the laptop is so slim yet so powerful it’s insane how they fit so much power. not as powerful as the larger laptops but of course that’s the case. the more space you have the higher the cooling capacity. The power brick is small for what it is which is good. still bigger than average but a lot smaller than i thought it would be for a high end gaming laptop. One thing to know about GPUs on the laptop versions: the high end laptop nvidia GPUs are significantly weaker compared to the desktop counterparts. The 5090 is equivalent to about the 5080 desktop version. The lower end version of the laptop graphics card (the 5050) is actually MORE powerful than the desktop one which is surprising so take of that what you will. if you look at specs online you’ll see that the lower end you go the more true-to-desktop it is. Personally if you’re going with this laptop might as well go for the 5090 for that extra kick. i went with the high end one since i wanted to match my desktop. I kitted it out fully, 5090, top end cpu, 64gb RAM and a tonne of storage. it’s super fast. runs anything i throw at it. I tried some pretty tough games and yet it ran perfectly. USE DLSS4 AND FRAME GEN TO YOUR ADVANTAGE people hate on it for no reason but it’s such a lifesaver. it adds TECHNICALLY 4x frames though in reality it’s more like about 2-3x more frames when taking into account the starting frame rate. Still though it’s amazing and frame gen works very well. i would recommend using it. smooths out games perfectly especially if you already have somewhere over 70fps, i think that’s the sweet spot. any lower and it feels a bit sluggish still. The display is gorgeous. a big, beautiful 240hz oled display. i found myself trying to find any excuse just to pull it out and use it because of how pretty the display is. Nothing to complain about there Speakers, very very good. nowhere near as good as a macbook but still above average for a windows laptop. keyboard, phenomenal. beautifully lit keys, double lit so if you hold shift the other version of that same key lights up. beautiful use of multiple LEDS on a keyboard. Also it’s just satisfying to type on Now, the trackpad.. this was horrible. my trackpad was broken. this is apparently a thing with the 16 inch models. the trackpads BARELY work. not all of them but some don’t work. it seems as though either you get lucky or you don’t. i got unlucky. don’t get the 16 inch models. if you want value for money, it’s not here. either go for another brand or go for the razer blade 18 instead. I know. i said this laptop is amazing, because it is IF you really care about portability, design and sleekness. if you do, go for the razer blade 18 (yes its a bit thicker but it still is the most beautiful gaming laptop in my opinion - I have one) Also the blade 18 will be more powerful since it has a more powerful power supply (so more power for GPU and CPU) and it has better cooling. to summarise. perfect laptop but there is a high chance you will have a broken one. go for the 18 instead to sacrifice a bit of portability and the oled display for an overall better experience. ... show more

  • Do not buy Razer Laptops
CPU: AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 RAM Size: 64 Capacity: 2 TB SSD Style: RTX 5080
Razer laptops are good for about a year, maybe two, before they die. I like most of their other products, but do not buy their laptops, support will ghost you, and they will not assist once it is past the first year. They will try and get more money out of you to try and fix them, but it ends up being the cost of a new laptop... There are multiple issues with the batteries and other components. If you buy one. good luck. ... show more
