  • Worth THE PRICE for the quality and comfort
Color: Black Size: 3.5 mm Style: PC
This has been one of my most favorite headsets hands down I use them for recording so I am all about the sound quality and the microphone quality these do not disappoint they're extremely comfortable even after long periods of time the sound is phenomenal they cuff over your ears so well that you can hardly hear anything outside of them and the quality of the stereo drivers are AHMAZING I am so impressed and pleased with these I've had them for MONTHS and never had an issue not one it has a copper aux which actually makes for a better sound quality as well less static and all around better connectivity ... show more

  • A (Really) Great Entry Level Wired Headset
Color: Black Size: 3.5 mm Style: PC
For what it costs, I had relatively low expectations of this headset. I came from a Corsair Virtuoso SE wireless headset that had a great mic and very good sound, but the connection with my PS4 was never very solid and I would notice relatively frequent dropouts in audio. Friends with PS4s swore by using the 3.5mm jack on the controller and I decided to use this to test. Build Quality When you pick up the headset the first thing you notice is just how light it is. It feels somewhat solid, but also it's clear that this is not a headset that prioritized premium materials. It's also extremely comfortable because of how light it is. Although I've never had issues with heavier headsets and neck pain, if that is a consideration the light materials should be great for long term sessions. The pads are faux leather on the interior ring and exterior ring. The part that rests against your head feels like something a little more breathable. I don't think I will have any issues wearing these for long sessions. The clamping force is a good moderate level where they won't fall off accidentally, but I don't feel like I am in a death grip. Mic Quality I made some calls using the mic and, I believe this to be a great compliment to the quality of the mic, no one thought I was on a headset. "It's like you were actually talking through your phone." Although they have a gamer vibe, I could definitely see using these on conference calls (as long as the video was off.) Basically, the mic is great. Audio Quality Here's where I was expecting things to fall apart, but they really didn't. I decided to make a completely unfair comparison between these and my pair of Sennheiser HD600s run off of an AudioQuest DragonFly Black DAC/AMP. There was clearly no contest between the two headphones in terms of vocals or detail retrieval, but the Razer wasn't a bad headphone by any means. It had a clear and present bass, without being muddy. I do feel like the Corsair Virtuoso had a more full sound, but the spotty connection ruined it. Gaming tends to be, I think, more forgiving than listening to music ... so I ran through a couple of games as a test. I tried a game that I feel focuses on background music (Unravel), which sounded great. I also tried something with more exploding (Borderlands 3) and the headset felt equally competent. Flaws (But Not Deal Breakers) The volume knob goes the opposite of the way my mind treats every other volume knob in my life. Clockwise turns the sound down?! WHY?! I would have loved an LED to remind me that I'm muted. My first attempted call failed because the mute was engaged. Conclusion The Razer Blackshark V2 X might have a terrible name, but it's an amazing product at the price point. I don't play as many games online as I used to and I listen to a lot more music. For me, it makes sense to have a great pair of headphones for music and solo play as well as a cheap headset for online play with friends and conference calls. This works for me. ... show more

  • Review on this cute pink headset
Color: Quartz Pink Size: 3.5 mm Style: PC
I ordered both the Razer Blackshark V2 X Gaming headset and the Razer Kraken V3 X headset. Here are my thoughts on this one! You can go read my review on the other one on Amazon reviews. DURABILITY: These are very lightweight, more so than the other. The top headrest part is covered with a soft, thin leather-like material. From my experience with Razer headsets, I have a feeling this won't last too long and may start to flake/deteriorate. Other than aesthetics, though, it feels very durable. COMFORT: Hands down the most comfortable headset to wear for long periods of time. I'm a huge gamer and am on Discord voice calls a lot. The earmuffs sit nicely against your head and do not squish too much. I can wear these for long hours without any pain. AUDIO: It's not completely soundproof, but it does dampen most background sounds. I prefer being able to hear my surroundings, so this doesn't bother me. I prefer how these have a little knob for the volume control; it's much easier to find than a tiny swivel. One bad thing, when I listened to a recording, it would sometimes get picked up by the mic as if I was speaking, but I wasn't. The other one did it as well... MIC QUALITY: The mics are very similar with marginal differences. This one has a little muffler thing to help with gummy noises when you talk. I like the other mic a little bit better, but the difference is very minute. These pick up a bit more background humming if you have a fan or AC on. But again, it's a very slim difference. OVERALL: I ended up keeping these mainly due to comfort, since I plan on using them for long hours. I believe comfort is more important than mic quality, plus, these were cheaper. The other ones were really cute though... ... show more

  • Best bang for your buck.
Color: Black Size: 3.5 mm Style: PlayStation
4/5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The razer v2x is one of the best budget headsets on the market. Passive noise cancellation works really well, i cant hear the kids making noise in the background. The mic is so good that I actually turn down my mic sensitivity and I still come across loud and clear. My main headset volume setting on the console is set to 90% that way i never have to surpass 50% on the actual headset dial. 50% is plenty loud and clear. Ive even opened apple music on my console to listen to music, its not overly loud at 100% with no distortion, not an extreme amount of bass, just good enough. Balances well with the mids and highs. Great overall sound profile for under $60. And the ear cups are soft and comfortable, I can game for hours with zero discomfort and the breathable material doesn’t make your ears hot at all. The V2X is an amazing deal. Best bang for your buck hands down. ... show more

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I honestly wasn’t expecting to be this impressed, especially for $29.99. These Razer headphones feel like they should cost way more than they do. From the moment I opened the box, I could tell this was a quality product. The packaging was super clean, neat, and well organized — everything was protected and presented really nicely. The build quality is solid. The materials don’t feel cheap at all, and the headphones themselves feel durable while still being very lightweight. I can wear them for long periods without any discomfort, which is a huge plus. The audio is phenomenal for this price range. The sound is clear, balanced, and surprisingly powerful. Whether I’m gaming, listening to music, or watching videos, everything sounds crisp and immersive. Overall, this is easily one of the best pairs of headphones you can get for the money. For $29.99. ( at the time I bought ) the value here is incredible. Great sound, solid materials, lightweight comfort, and excellent presentation. I would definitely buy them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for an affordable but high-quality head ... show more

  • Great performance, great price
Color: White Size: 3.5 mm Style: PC
I'm an audio engineer with a big collection of headphones, some of which are $700+. This pair is rock solid. It's not going to win any audio quality awards, or blow your skull open with bass, let your teammates hear the gravel in your voice like you were standing right beside them. But it will play the sounds it's supposed to, with enough and clarity and balance that you won't be distracted by a lack of quality. They're lightweight and extremely cushy, comfortable for long sessions. The cardioid mic shape does a good enough of picking up voice in one direction while ignoring most of the rest of the room. Paired with something like discord's noise suppression features, voice features just work. They do a good job of blocking/reducing outside noise. The cords are quite long and come with multiple rubber cable ties, so they transport well without getting tangled. At ~$35 these things are fantastic for someone casual that wants something to do the job well and not need tinkering. Only two tiny nits: the green of the 3.5mm speaker jack is nearly white, and I could only Id it because the other one was more visibly pink. These would benefit from more intense color bands, even better if it also had an icon or something. And the mic is not removable like on some headphones, it's always sticking out of the ear can and can't be pulled for storage and travel. Not a big deal. I bought a second pair for my partner and would recommend these to anybody that just wants to find something good enough and get on with their life. ... show more

I had a pair of Logitechs that broke after a year, they had decent sound, but when I put these on I was shocked how much better the sound was without touching any controls. Extremely comfortable fit it comes with cables to choose about any connection whether it be a combined mic/earphone control or separate connection to the motherboard. I was very pleased with this purchase. The earphones are very quiet, yet light and unobtrusive. ... show more

  • Solid quality for price. Solid quality for price.
Color: Green Size: 3.5 mm Style: PC
As a PC gamer, I know how important it is to have the right gear for an immersive gaming experience that doesn't cost a fortune. I recently tested the Razer BlackShark V2 X Gaming Headset, and I can't wait to share my insights. Priced at just $50 (on sale frequently), this headset offers remarkable quality for its cost, making it a fantastic choice for budget-conscious gamers. Although the microphone quality could be improved, it’s not a dealbreaker, especially if you would consider investing in a standalone microphone. In this review, I will detail the headset's features, discuss its advantages and disadvantages, and provide my overall impressions. Let’s jump in! Design and Comfort When it comes to comfort during those marathon gaming sessions, this headset truly excels. It features soft, breathable memory foam ear cushions that conform to your ears, and the well-padded headband ensures a snug yet comfortable fit. I wore this headset for over four hours during a gaming session, and I didn't experience any discomfort. My previous headset (The Razer Kraken) lasted me well over 3 years before I needed a replacement, and that was a headset I used daily. It goes to show the durability of Razer's products for the most part. Sound Quality Now let’s talk about sound quality. The BlackShark V2 X uses 50mm drivers that provide clear audio across a broad frequency range. Whether I was engaged in a pulse-pounding battle or exploring the serene landscapes of an RPG, the audio was immersive. The punchy bass really stood out; it enhanced the depth of explosions and pivotal moments in gameplay. During my sessions, the directionality of sound was impressive. In competitive gaming, being aware of where opponents are is very helpful. The BlackShark V2 X allowed me to easily identify enemy locations and hear important in-game cues, leading to improved performance in several matches. Microphone Quality While the sound quality of the headset impresses, the microphone quality could definitely be better. The cardioid microphone is adequate for in-game communication but lacks the clarity many gamers desire. It definitely will get the job done though I wouldn't expect any high quality audio from it. For those serious about gaming communication, I recommend investing in a standalone microphone. External microphones can significantly enhance the clarity of your voice, especially for streaming or content creation. While the mic on the BlackShark V2 X is a bit underwhelming, it won't be a dealbreaker and will function as needed. I would say that any standalone microphone even a lower end one (Such as the FIFINE Gaming USB Microphone https://amzn.to/4hU3xMH ) will be many times better than most headset microphones. Connectivity The headset connects via a 3.5mm jack, making it straightforward to use with various devices like PCs, consoles, and mobile devices. Razer typically includes a splitter cable for separate audio and mic input, which adds versatility for different setups. If your product does not include a splitter, these can be had for well under $5. Of course this will not be necessary if you are investing in an external microphone. You won't have to deal with complex setups or additional software—just plug it in and go. This ease of use is appealing for gamers who want to jump right into action without any hassle. The Razer software is not required, and in my experience their software has not been the greatest anyways. Great Value for Money The most appealing aspect of the Razer BlackShark V2 X is its price. At $50, it provides an excellent blend of quality, comfort, and performance. While there are a wide range of headsets at lower price points, it's hard to beat the quality and durability of Razer for the price. For budget gamers, this headset is a fantastic deal. It performs well across various categories, providing an excellent investment for anyone looking to elevate their gaming without overspending. Final Thoughts In summary, the Razer BlackShark V2 X Gaming Headset stands out in the entry-level gaming headset market. Its attractive design, comfort, and decent sound quality make it an excellent choice for gamers who value quality and affordability. While the microphone may need improvement, it’s not a significant flaw, especially with the option for standalone mics. If you are a PC gamer on a budget, consider giving the BlackShark V2 X a try. At $50, it offers a great gaming experience without draining your wallet. Remember, a good gaming headset can significantly enhance how you enjoy your favorite games. Happy gaming! ... show more
