I'm really not a fan, I have trouble getting the stencil to stick. I'm using stencil stuff so it could be user error. But I use them for practice Shading and improving my technique

I’m dabbling with learning to create hand poke tattoo, practice is essential if I want to make anything that looks recognizable (I’m not a natural). This pack has given me LOTS to play with. There’s over a dozen “skin” sheets, every bit of it is inkable- if I don’t go too deep, I can use the backside too! While silicone isn’t ever going to replace the actual experience feel of inking skin, it’s a good alternative for practice work. I’ve been told some folks use bananas, grapefruit or even pork roasts for practice, this seems cleaner, less wasteful and less expensive. ... show more

These work fine for practicing, but they do feel rubbery and do not mimic the 'softness' of skin like some of the thicker practice skin do. These are very thin and work better if you put them around something such as a thick paper towel roll or even an empty HTV or vinyl roll to help mimic the corves of the body and to keep from going through the skin. If you just lay this on the table flat, you are more than likely going to poke through it. ... show more
