The only reason I'm giving this machine 4 stars instead of 5 is because the piece that adjusts the distance of the holes from the edge is out of alignment, and I have to work with it to punch straight, and stay within the first (blue) setting. It does the job, and save me quite a bit of money. I took a 4.25x5.5 booklet to have it bound at the local office supply store, and they charged me $5 for the coil binding. I had already printed it and had the covers on it. I just completed 150 booklets and getting ready to complete another 120, so it more than paid for itself. I just wish the adjustment arm would stay in its place and not shift so that it would punch straight.

It did not look like my 20 year old machine now not working. I wasn't certain it was the right machine for me, but followed the directions ..using something other than the 25 page with cover booklet just to see what it would do. What it did was ..made me smile at the way the coils worked their way neatly into the holes that it had first punched into the test and then into the booklet. Will it last the 20 years of the old one? No answer for that.

We used this product to create 200 of our annual benefit catalogs. It was worth it to do this ourselves versus sending the books out to be created. Very easy to learn and it was a huge savings $$$ for us!
