    • Overall gets the job done.
Works as described. It's very sturdy and heavy. I have used on a project of about 20 customized coil-bound notebooks. My favorite thing about it is that I can adjust the starting punch position which is handy for oversized covers. I just wish it could punch more pages at a time. I can comfortably get about 10 pages and only 3 photo pages. Any more than that and you need a lot of elbow grease and it starts to get pretty loud. The power cord is very short so I don't use the auto coiling. It would be pretty difficult with oversized covers anyway, so no biggy. For regular size paper it's very fast and I found it almost too fast. To the point where I had to coil it back because it went too far. ... show more

    • Saved a lot of time & money!
The only reason I'm giving this machine 4 stars instead of 5 is because the piece that adjusts the distance of the holes from the edge is out of alignment, and I have to work with it to punch straight, and stay within the first (blue) setting. It does the job, and save me quite a bit of money. I took a 4.25x5.5 booklet to have it bound at the local office supply store, and they charged me $5 for the coil binding. I had already printed it and had the covers on it. I just completed 150 booklets and getting ready to complete another 120, so it more than paid for itself. I just wish the adjustment arm would stay in its place and not shift so that it would punch straight. ... show more

It did not look like my 20 year old machine now not working. I wasn't certain it was the right machine for me, but followed the directions ..using something other than the 25 page with cover booklet just to see what it would do. What it did was ..made me smile at the way the coils worked their way neatly into the holes that it had first punched into the test and then into the booklet. Will it last the 20 years of the old one? No answer for that. ... show more

We purchased this to use at the church office where I work. We have made several small booklets with this. The last one we made was about 8 -10 pages using cardstock. It worked great and the booklets look nice and are so much easier to use with a coil binding. We will get a lot of use from this machine. ... show more

    • Huge Savings!
We used this product to create 200 of our annual benefit catalogs. It was worth it to do this ourselves versus sending the books out to be created. Very easy to learn and it was a huge savings $$$ for us!
