Perfect fit, good quality part, well packaged. Brake pedal feels better now and braking performance has improved over the previous pads, which were no brand cheap pads. Would buy again.

Redid the brakes on a 2011 Juke. I've used Raybestos pads for ages and went with them again. There quiet, have excellent braking power, and almost no dust. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

  • Good packaging, fit and nice hardware

Just installed these pads last week. They are a hybrid... I got 100 k off the last set of Callahan pads. I did not xout tha rotor this time, so not really a fair comparison. Packaging was excellent and the pads were clean and looked like they are built well. The shoe hardware was stainless steel and thick. I'll update you soon after 10k. ... show more

I really like the composition of the brake pads as a hybrid combo of semi-metallic and ceramic materials. These are rated GH for the friction coefficient (stamped on the shims) so they are very good. The clips are stainless steel that sandwich between the pads and the mounting bracket so no rust should form on the surfaces that the pads slide back and forth on. I did not put grease in those slots because of my concern that grease could somehow find its way onto the disc and render the brake useless and potentially cause an accident. Also, keep in mind, that the exposed grease will attract brake dust and dirt causing the grease to thicken and potentially interfere with the pads sliding on the mounting brackets. The guide tabs on the pads were too tight so I hand filed them until they slide in their grooves with a mild effort but were not so loose as to be sloppy. I did replace the lube on the guide pins and replaced the rubber seals also. After about 300 miles they have seated and work fine, as to be expected. And, I saved about $400+ by doing this myself, with the Lord's help, of course. I will say there is no fading when the brake pads are hot and do an excellent job of stopping a 4000 lb. Jeep Wrangler . Highly Recommend. ... show more
