Top Amazon Reviews

  • Good quality and fitment
Style: EHT606H
Installed these about 3 months ago and now reviewing after I have given them some time. Quality out of the box was good and all shims fit well. These were recommended in a few forums so not surprised with first impressions. Brakes did squeak for about 25-40 miles while breaking in but have been quiet since. Braking performance is very good, as I didnt replace worn rotors on rear and was slightly concerned on how they would bite. Overall a great buy for the price if youre looking to throw some rear pads on. ... show more

  • Worked on 2007 Pontiac Vibe, FWD, Front pads
Style: EHT923H
Quality pads, pre-broken in. Mix of semi-metalic so I'm hoping it works a bit better than than pure ceramic on my wife's car. At 125K I purchased drilled and slotted rotors which came with ceramic pads. After about 10K miles the car started 'chugging' when stopping. Warped brake rotor type symptoms. I tried to burn off some glaze by dragging brakes for a mile and then some hard stops but it didnt really work better. Got 'free' replacement rotors with $31 shipping. Bought these brakes to try something better. Looking at the old rotors they dont look bad at all , pads either. So I kept both as spares if we put another 75K on the Vibe they might go back on (I hope not) . I was not real happy with the caliper slider pin grease when I did the rebuild this time so I scraped out all old grease and flushed with cleaner and repacked with pin grease. MAYBE that was the real problem. Please clean your pins and repack with proper slide lube. After one day of use the results are positive. I will update if I change my mind ever on these pads but they seem to be good. Came with stainless glide sheet metal and fit exactly right. I didnt need to grind the ears any which happens sometimes on cheap pads. These are four identical pads, with no wear indictor squeakers if that matters to you. ... show more

  • Great pads
Style: EHT1114H
Great pads at a great price. They were easy to install, and were a perfect fit for our 2012 Subaru Impreza. Stopping power was immediately improved.

  • Works but rubs strangely.
Style: EHT1521H
I'm not sure if this is a me problem or not but the inner side pad (the one with the squealer tab) rubs a good deal on my 2015 Honda crv. It seems like it's a pinch too thick for the caliper-rotor gap and nothing I've done can get it to stop rubbing. I've tried hard braking to bed the pads many many times but no dice. Do note that I have old rotors though. Excellent stopping power all things considered. ... show more

  • Perfect Fit on 1999 Toyota 4runner
Style: EHT436AH
I read the reviews & the positive feedback was the deciding factor on these brakes. I had to replace my 4Runner front brakes as I noticed longer braking from a distance & having some vibration at a complete stop. Upon further inspection the brakes on the driver side had a broken retainer clip barely holding on & causing the loose play when coming to a stop. The original brakes were almost at the end of their life as some of the brake pads had gaps in them starting to desenagrate with lots of brake dust on the brake caliper. I assume these are are organic brakes pads that produce alot of brake dust replaced by my auto mechanic two years ago. I wanted to replace my brakes with ceramic pads since they are more durable, have more stopping power, & produce less brake dust. These are cheaper than buying from a retail store & glad they came with replacement brake retainer clips & clips to hold in the brake rods, because my broke & would have to go buy them at the auto parts store. I did the replacement myself, you can learn from YouTube videos if you need help & the tools needed. Overall I am very pleased of the quality & value of the these brake pads & saved me money from having to go to a auto mechanic. ... show more

  • Fit well. Quiet. Not much dust.
Style: EHT1723H
These are supposed to be the best of both ceramic (longevity) and semi-metallic (bite) pads. They come with stainless hardware that fit my 2016 Honda Pilot like the originals. The backing seems nice and hopefully will limit noise. The pads seem solid and have good bite - seemingly a bit better than the OEM ceramics. Don’t seem to leave much dust which is good. Only downside is they don’t include any brake lubricant which many pads throw in so be sure to pick some up. Will update on longevity, but for the price ($25 and $35 for rear and front pads respectively) they seem like a good deal. I did bed the pads in with my new rotors. For someone who is looking to improve their daily driver, these seem like a good mix of performance and excellent value. ... show more

  • STOP!
Style: EHT1737H
Collaborate and listen. Lol. Awesome break pads. Bought same one for both my vehicles and they have worked amazing. Super easy to install (if you know how) hell even if you have never installed new brakes, go to YouTube and their are tons of videos.

  • Came with a lot of extra Clamps
Style: EHT914H
Seriously, it came with like 20 extra clamps, a few of each for different mounting systems that different cars use. I only needed two clamps for each of my two front brakes. The other 20+ will probably just waste away in my garage as I have no use for them. The breaks are more dusty than I imagined and would like to see, but I don't really mind as I don't need a squeaky clean car lol. The brake dust comes off pretty easily with a pressure washer at the car wash. Mounting was easy enough, given you have the required hardware, which is NOT INCLUDED. If you don't know what you need, just Google it. I have noticed that if I spray WD-40 on the parts where metal-to-metal contact occurs, it eliminates almost 100% of the noise. Even when you stomp on the brakes really hard, they are not very loud. As for longevity, these are looking like they will last a good 2 years or so (I drive about 1,500-2,000 miles a month. For about an hour's worth of work and $30, you cannot go wrong. If you are the kind of person who wants/expects quality at a fair price, then look no further than these brakes! I hope this helps you out! ... show more
