  • Sturdy and reliable!
Style: CM01
I recently purchased the RAUBAY Monitor Top Camera Mount Clamp (CM01) for my home office setup, and it has proven to be an excellent solution for my webcam positioning needs. The installation process couldn't be simpler - the clamp attaches securely to the top of my flat-screen monitor without any tools required. What impressed me most is the remarkable stability this mount provides. There's absolutely no wobbling or movement of my camera, even when I'm typing vigorously or moving around at my desk. The camera stays perfectly still, ensuring professional-looking video during conferences and recordings. The flexibility in positioning is another standout feature. The adjustable arm allows me to fine-tune the exact angle and height of my webcam, which has been invaluable for finding the most flattering angle for video calls. The 1/4" standard screw fits perfectly with my webcam and provides a secure connection. Construction quality appears excellent - the materials feel durable and well-made, not flimsy or cheap like some similar products I've tried. The clamp portion has a protectve padding that prevents any damage to my monitor while maintaining a tight grip. For anyone doing regular video conferencing, live streaming, or content creation for platforms like YouTube or TikTok, this mount is a game-changer. It elevates your webcam to eye level (much more flattering than the typical "up-nose" angle from laptop cameras) and frees up valuable desk space. The price point represents solid value considering the quality and functionality. If you're looking to upgrade your video setup without spending hundreds on expensive equipment, this simple but effective mount is definitely worth considering. ... show more

  • Sturdy Mount, Did Its Job Well
Style: CM01
The RAUBAY Monitor Top Camera Mount Clamp provided a solid foundation for my camera during live streaming sessions. It's designed effectively and ensures that the camera stays in place without any wobbling. - Sturdiness: The clamp held my camera in position, and I didn't encounter any stability issues. The construction is robust, and it feels like it's built to last. - Functionality: The 1/4" screw fits well with standard camera fixtures, making it a versatile tool for various camera models. - Return Reason: It's worth noting that my reason for returning this product had nothing to do with its performance. My camera started exhibiting a choppy feed, which was an unrelated issue. The mount did its job commendably. Final Thoughts: The RAUBAY mount is a reliable choice for those looking for stability during live streams or video calls. If my camera had been functioning properly, I would have had no reason to part with it. A well-made product that delivers on its promises. ... show more

  • Combine 2 products to solve the "thick monitor" mounting problem Combine 2 products to solve the "thick monitor" mounting problem
Style: CM01
If the top of your monitor is more than 3/8" thick, this product will not work without help. I have a very large LG 49" curved monitor. The top of that monitor is 1.25" wide. I can sit a coffee cup on it. I say that so you know I'm not talking about the face of the monitor, I'm talking about the actual top of the monitor where the camera mount sits. The Raubay product that I'm commenting on is not made for that monitor thickness. If it's wider than 3/8", the base sent with the item will not sit in a position that allows the camera swivel to be upright. I almost returned the product, but found this product to fix the wide monitor problem: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09QFM1232?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title That is a $9 (as of this writing) product on Amazon that is strong, adjustable, and allows me to take the swivel camera mount from this product and attach it to the monitor. It is a bit of a hack, but it is working well for me. Admittedly, I'm attaching a light Logitech Brio webcam to it, not a heavy full sized camera like some of the other users of this product are boasting. I'm not sure it would be stable with all that weight. And, the 2nd product does change the intended design of this one. The swivel is meant to be mostly behind the top of the monitor. Using the other mount as a base, the whole swivel sits on top of the monitor and does raise the camera roughly 3 inches. (imperfect, but ... show more

  • Will not fit typical Desktop monitor, fine for Laptop.

This is for a laptop monitor, not a Desktop monitor. The hook at the top is too narrow for a desktop computer monitor

  • Works with Sony a6000 as web/vlog cam Works with Sony a6000 as web/vlog cam
See attached photos. I purchased because I did not have room for a tripod behind my monitor; I wanted to be able to have both my Logitech web cam (which I love and has the microphone I use), and my Sony a6000 both available for web video chat and vlogging. This mount fits thinner monitors best, but can be adapted for thicker screens such as my older iMac, which is more than 1" thick. For the old iMac, the ball socket has to be rotated so the clearance slot for the neck of the shaft that goes to the camera mount is up and toward the back, so the camera can be raised to the proper angle. This makes it less convenient to adjust the ball tension screw. On my regular monitor, I can place the tension screw up and to the back, which is easier to access. You may wish you had a third hand the first time you put it all together; there are four adjustment screws involved (which give it tremendous flexibility). However, once it is close to what you want, it is easy enough to back off each screw in turn and tweak the adjustment. I left the ball tension screw loose enough that the camera stays in place, but can be moved with hand pressure. Once you get it set, there's not much that needs to be changed. I think it does very well to hold my camera and take up the least amount of space. ... show more

  • Fails on 90% of monitors. Don't buy.
Style: CM01
This will not fit on any monitor where the top edge of the monitor is more than 3/8" thick. That's 90% of the monitors in our company. Other than not working on 9 out of 10 monitors, it's a great idea and well built. If you have a monitor that's super thin on it's top edge, buy this. This is such a myopic design decision. I suppose the designer had only one skinny monitor to test this on. ... show more

  • It works - See Photos It works - See Photos
Style: CM01
I love it as it is easy as hell to install. Just loosen it up and slide the support down. Attach camera. Place on TV/Monitor, works like a champ. One small con that you may need to watch for. My monitor/tv is curved and has a larger back than a normal tv/monitor. So the bracket sits on the top of the back plate, causing it to be a TAD top heavy and could theoretically fall forward. BUT, My camera is not a heavy DSLR, and the mount works, so I do not think that its a worry of mine that it would fall. Again, this is all due to my monitor being curved with a thick back. ... show more
