I absolutely love this navy patio sofa. It’s true to the navy color (darker than it advertises which is what I was hoping for), it’s comfortable, and looks great after assembly. The material doesn’t feel cheap which is surprising considering the cost. The cushions came vacuum sealed and if you follow the directions like I did then you will have nothing but fluffy cushy pillows. To get the bottom cushions in the covers I folded them and it helped a lot. I washed all the pillow covers in cold water before using them and dried them on low in the dryer and they came out perfect. The assembly is pretty time consuming but thankfully we have a drill with an Allen wrench bit so it made the process a lot faster than others’. I bought two to complete the look I wanted and they turned out great! Hopefully they will last a long time being under a covered balcony and with the included waterproof couch covers which have been a wonderful addition. I’m 5’5” and the couch comes to the middle of my back but it’s comfortable because the cushions are very supportive. Also the wicker is a dark brown not black which I thought the product pictures made it look more like (yay for me because I was hoping for a dark brown). Overall, a perfect purchase with cost, comfort, ease of assembly, and design/look. I would definitely recommend! ... show more

I’m very pleased with the sofa. It took two hours to assemble and that was with power tools. It’s very comfortable and is undercover on our deck. The fabric is definitely sub-standard. Almost feels like cheap plastic and the back cushions are undersized and flat for the covers. I’ll Be taking another buyers idea and stuffing with standard bed pillows. I may replace the seat cushion covers. They’re kind of nasty feeling. Overall it’s a great bargain for the price and comfortable to sit on. Not too low for us. And good for lounging.     • What a bargain! I'm impressed!

I LOVE this sofa! Priced at $299 it was quite the bargain when compared with other patio sofas. It was almost impossible to un-package the foam cushions. Two of the cushions are stored together and one is stored alone. When unpacking them be sure to start with the single foam. Then, once you get the hang of it, try the 2 foam package. It took me about an hour to unpack the foam. Do not cut the plastic around the foam as it is vacuum packed and will expand making it even more difficult. My method (at 77 years old) was to stand at a wall so I couldn't fall down and rock the square piece of rattan (D) back and forth...a millimeter at a time until it loosened. I wore a stiff soled shoe which I put against the little lip of (A) allowing some leverage. Customer service was OUTSTANDING getting back to me within 24 hours to provide hints although I finally dislodged the foam on my own. Wish they had a video showing how they would unpack. As soon as you unpack the foam, put it inside the cover as the foam my expand more in a few minutes to hours and it is quite difficult to stuff into the cover. The foam is not perfectly square so be sure to put the narrow side in the narrow side of the cover. Folding the foam will help you get it in. The diagram of instructions is easy to follow but there are a TON of bolts, washers and nuts so just go step by step. Fortunately, they supplied a few extra hardware as one bolt was damaged. Plus, if you happen to lose one, you've got a spare. The whole operation probably took me about 4.5 hours but I took breaks. The wrench and allen wrench are perfectly adequate for assembly. The sofa looks great and is quite comfortable. The low back, apparently complaint on other reviews, is not a problem. The material of pillows and cushions is tough and color (blue) great and as shown on the website. It's nice that they include a cover! ... show more

Looks nice. Comfortable. Easy to assemble. Great price. Love that it also comes with a cover. They also included a tiny ratchet for the screws which is much easier to use than a standard L-shaped Allen wrench. Nice touch!

    • Time Consuming and Confusing Assembly

This sofa took the better part of an afternoon to assemble. As other reviewers have mentioned, initially we were assembling it backwards. The instructions were terrible! When we finally had the sofa assembled, I thought, “Okay! Now we just need to take care of the cushions!” But, nope. That was extremely annoying as well. It took me a few minutes to realize that the bottom cushions are NOT a square. They are closer to 23x25. So I thought I’d share that to hopefully prevent someone else from dealing with the aggravation of inserting the cushions the wrong way. The cushions are a cream color on the bottom, so you’ll need to work the cushion in such that the bottom doesn’t show. (Functionally, that means that you can’t flip the cushion over if there are a few raindrops or a stain that can wait to be cleaned.) Also, the cushions are purportedly water resistant. While the fabric is, to some degree, water resistant, the inserts seem particularly absorbent and really soak up water. The cushion covers were also very wrinkle but they were better once I steamed them. The price is good and once the sofa was assembled, it’s fairly well constructed. But I’ll likely need to go on the hunt to find different cushions. It does appear that 23x25 appears is a standard size, but factor the cost of potentially replacing the cushions into your decision. I’d say this is an okay purchase if you’re perhaps renting for a year or two-but if you want something for the long term, in hindsight, I’d have invested in a better sofa. ... show more

I will start with the positive: The sofa itself is very sturdy and the cushion material looks to be durable and of quality; even the zippers are of strong materials. Time will tell. All assembled it looks very nice and worth more than the $250.00. It is adequately comfortable. I am 6'3" and I would have liked the base to be taller, but for most, I think it is fine. If you are tall and heavy, forget it. They will have to pull you out with a winch. The negative: OMG! I have changed 4 car brakes in less time than it took me to assemble this thing. Cramped openings, tiny tools to fit, a about 2 hundred bolts, washers, nuts, and struts, makes for a full afternoon and part of an evening. MAKE SURE you have a table, bench, or picnic table to work on. Most all the hardware is installed by handling an allen wrench and bolt wrench at the same time in confined areas, and is the reason that this is so tedious, strenuous, and time consuming. Then when the furniture is assembled, take another 15 minutes trying to stuff expanded foam into the tight cases. RIDICULOUS LABOR!!! Be prepared for a long work out, and possible soreness next day if not in good shape. I read a review by a supposed buyer that claimed assembly was easy and he was done under 2 hours. HA!!! It takes at least a half hour to unbox, sort and count the hardware, and figure out the instructions (which are actually pretty clear). I can see if you have put one of these together before, it might be able to assemble in three hours, and only if you have tiny strong hands like Santa's elves. ... show more
