I’m not really a fan of using traps or poison, so I was glad to find something that’s natural and safe for my pets. These bags give off a strong peppermint scent that definitely repels mice. The smell is pretty nice for us humans, but it really does the trick for keeping pests at bay. I placed the bags in all the corners of my garage and in my attic. So far, I haven’t noticed any new signs of mice. The instructions are clear and easy to follow—just tear open the bag and place the little balls in problem areas. It’s been a couple of weeks now, and I feel more confident that my home is safe from rodents. I especially like that I don’t have to deal with the mess or stress of traps.

The pack comes with 12 individual pouches, which makes it easy to place them wherever I need. I simply tossed a few in my garage, where I’ve noticed the most mouse activity, and I quickly saw a reduction in their presence. I placed the repellent sachets in my attic, garage, and basement, as well as inside my car’s engine compartment since I had issues with mice chewing on wires before. Within a couple of weeks, I noticed a significant decrease in rodent activity. I no longer hear scratching noises in the attic, and I haven’t seen any new droppings in my garage. It really gives me peace of mind knowing that my home is protected without the need for toxic solutions. The repellent balls are also incredibly easy to use. You just remove them from the protective bag and place them where you’ve seen signs of rodents. Each one covers a good amount of space, and they last quite a while.

We've used similar products over the summer and what I find is that I prefer to use outdoors. Indoors they are just too powerful of a scent to deal with for me. Opening this box was no different, even though each repellent is individually wrapped, you will smell it. You get instructions for use, 10 repellents and 10 small drawstring bags to place the repellent in when in use. These are marked safe for children and pets, but it does tell you to wear gloves when handling so make sure they are in those included bags when placing about the home and yard to be on the safe side. My observations are that the claims for various insects and/or arachnoids seems a bit so-so. I've seen ants avoid the immediate area but simply go around the repellent. So if you're following the suggested spacing of 98 inches (8 feet 2 inches), it's not going to stop those insects completely. Although it does seem this summer we had fewer spiders than usual, but they still built their webs around the house and ants never seem to stop finding a way in. As for mice and rodents, I've not seen mice although I know my neighbor across and a few doors down was trapping and removing them from his house. I have seen chipmunks though and I hate them borrowing around the house as we get them going under the deck, under our front step to the door and around the back yard. We've had to place these on the planters about the yard to prevent those little thieves from getting to any of my wife's vegetables. So again the 8 feet rule seems questionable. This time however, I'm going to try pairing up with a solar powered electronic pest control device that flashes a small LED light and ultrasonic sound to scare them away and see if the combo helps. Although we're now going into the winter months so probably won't see them again until spring.

Before I used these repellents, I used sticky traps to catch those pesky rats. But there is a big problem that I have an unpleasant task to deal with. I don't want to see them or hear that scary noise. So I decided to try these products. They do have some smell, but I don't have any problem with the smell. The best part is that I know they are made from safe, natural ingredients, so I don't have to worry about harmful chemicals. But I still don't keep these bags within the reach of my pets, and they don't seem to have any effect on my pets (I have dogs). The amount of 12 packs is great for me and they can cover my whole house.
