Got this to use with my Keychron K3 v2 keyboard and loving it! Looks and feels like great quality all around, and I really like the pop of color it adds (very glad I didn't go with my initially planned, too safe, selection of black). I'm guessing at this price point, there must have been compromises made, but as someone new to coiled keyboard cables (aside from the terrible permanently attached stock ones that used to be fairly common back in the day), and someone also new to aviator cable connectors, I'm impressed with the quality of this particular cable, and wondering how and why there are so many $50 to $100+ options out there. Initially I was hunting for one with USB-C connectors on both ends, but after seeing how rare they seem to be if you don't go the custom route, I came to realize that USB-A on the computer end probably makes a lot more sense anyway. It's not like you need USB-C here, and considering that desktops as well as hubs typically have a mixture of USB-C and USB-A ports, I don't think I'd want to use up a USB-C port just to plug a keyboard into anyway, when I have other things that would make better use of it. I was really hoping to see in the product specs a listing of all the relevant dimensions and was a bit worried that they didn't; wasn't sure if the cable I got would look out of place with my keyboard or on my desk or not (it doesn't). By my measurements, the cable I got is 80mm from the keyboard end of the plug shroud to the keyboard-facing outer edge of the coils, and also 80mm from the far end of the screwed-down aviator connector cap to the coils on the other end. Coil is 26mm diameter and 140mm long. Straight computer-side cable is 1115mm from the computer/hub end of the plug shroud to the end of the knurled grip on the aviator barrel. Going for a pink build but wanted other colors to compliment the pink. I've seen coil cables used in other people's builds and I thought it look neat so I purchased this. It's aesthetically pleasing to look at and serves it purpose. It's also sturdy and feels tough to the touch.

This is a simple coiled cable with USB-C and USB-A ends and a 5-pin aviator connector. The ponciana red color on this cable is brighter than the product pictures. I don't mind the color, but I wish it was more accurate. The braiding is different, and it's not a soft material like you would find on a gaming mouse cable. The upside is that this cable is thick and feels sturdy. The plastic end on the USB-C plug has a weird shape, the logo side is flat and the other side is slightly tapered. I would have preferred a thinner design on the USB-C plug, but it works with a Hexgears I2 keyboard. It might not fit all keyboards with a deep USB-C port though. The aviator plugs are painted black, which look cool, but they are glossy. The male and female aviator plugs fit well, but they are hard to connect and disconnect. I also learned that it's not good to screw the locking ring too tight, because it can get stuck and be hard to unscrew. The female and male plugs don't have any screws to stop them from rotating, so they can come loose when you unplug them. I haven't had any issues with the aviator plug, but I don't think it's very durable for frequent disconnecting. I think this cable could be a good choice, if you don’t frequently disconnect the aviator plugs. Another consideration is that this cable is generally bulky and may or may not work in all desk setups. However, with a discount this is a good value if you want this style of coiled cable for your keyboard. ... show more
